I know there are cheaper ways. But ive always wanted to travel America and go to Disney, Universal, and Six Flags. You can't beat the U.S. Parks

I've always wanted to go to a Disney Park, and as much as I'd love to my parents don't get enough money in to afford a trip to the U.S. and go to the parks in both California and Florida. It would be a dream come true if Disney bought out Dreamworld, or if they constructed a small park for the Australian tourism. Doesn't have to be an extremely large park with an elaborate setup like the U.S. Parks, but enough to keep the residents of Australia entertained and help boost the Australian Tourism!! A Disney resort will too, be a great way to boost tourism, especially with the Disney name and brand behind it. We all wish for a Disney Park to be constructed here in Aus, but we would all have to wait and see where this is going.

I agree. Movie World needs a couple of flat rides.

Think of a Wild Mouse inside a mountain with Mine Carts as the Coaster Cars.

Heated pools keep the same or similar temperature even if there is a slight temperature drop. People would rather swim in a heated pool because the temperature is bearable, unlike unheated pools, where it takes ages to get use to the temperature. Wet'n'Wild would want their guests to have an enjoyable experience in the park. Rather than shooting down a slide into an unbearably cold pool, all to leave you rushing to the edge of the pool to dry off as quickly as possible. Winter in Sydney gets fairly cold. Even if Wet'n'Wild Sydney stays open all year round they would start loosing money due to the fact that guest wouldnt enjoy sliding down slides into a warm pool all to climb out and encounter a burst of freezing cold air as you walk to your next ride.

The pools are more than likely heated. It's not opened through winter because of the temperature difference. The Gold Coast has warm tropical weather all year round. While Sydney is warm during summer and fairly cold through winter.

Wasn't Terror Canyon and Terror Canyon II originally where constrictor is. I remember riding it before it closed. If I remember correctly they had lighting effects in them.

I'm sorry. But I really don't like how the screen is positioned. Maybe it's OCD or something but I'd rather see the screen in the centre of the boardwalk rather than on the side. And maybe a little bit lower to the ground. Other than that Jamberoo has done a good job at fixing up the park for the 2014-2015 season. Hopefully we see some more progress on the Kangaroo Island expansion next year!! I don't agree with the park being closed Monday to Fridays. But they need to save money somehow.

Who cares about the residents in the adjacent buildings. They bought those apartments. And anyway... They are powerless when it comes to LP rides. LP has more power. So they could add the worlds loudest coaster and put it right next to the buildings and LP would still get away with it.

Spring into Corrimal on Sunday too. Unfortunately I have to work Sunday . But I can see if my sister can grab a few photos when she goes.

Well I think Dreamworld has really picked up their game with refurbishing the Wipeout, replacing Reef Diver with Tail Spin and giving multiple rides a touch up. We may even see a proper ride / coaster, the way Dreamworld is going. Dreamworld has really taken a good turn.!!!

At least one person got the idea on how to ride it!

It has 2 rides that I counted. At least there is a drop tower!! Other than that, I'd rather spend the day at Luna Park

Could you get a photo of the old UFO spot if possible. From the Ferris wheel would be perfect. And if possible ask some of the workers if they know of any plan for a UFO replacement. Thanks

^ oh ok. I didn't realise there was an elevator at the entrance.

I remember riding the elevator into the sovernier shop from the ride exit. This was before tot2. So things must have changed. The elevator was for exiting the ride, and a ramp was at the entrance.

Yes it was. It held this record for a few months before 'superman escape from krypton' at six flags was built. SEFK matched the height and speed of TOT. But the thing I hate is the fact that when SEFK was constructed, americans labeled it the 'tallest and fastest in the world' when in fact TOT beat them by a few months with the exact same ride. It's kind of unfair if you think about it.
