Tin Foil Hat

Not ride maintenance exactly, but worth mentioning that the Looney Tunes shop is getting rendered.

I PM’d him, apparently he works with guest services. Sounded pretty legit to me. Very disappointing if so.

No words at all. Heartbreaking loss of someone who has done so much for us theme park fans. RIP

They have been floting around since May last year I think. Several people on here have seen them. As with all artists impressions however, they are never 100% what is built.

By the look of the artist impressions, the Suspended Family Coaster will be the 450 model, the same as Dragonflier at Dollywood.

From what I have heard its a refurb at the directive of Lego to keep it in line with the Lego store franchise.

Somehow I dont think Buzzsaw is going to care.

Why was the Pounce 'n Bounce ever removed?

Another angle

Please feel free to close this is that is the case, I did search for it but could not find it.

What's everyone's thoughts on the replacement for Arkham Asylum? I would love a Vekoma Flying coaster personally, or a Vekoma Bermuda Blitz if they wanted a cheap model.

Yeah, it was meant to be 52m originally.

What are peoples thoughts on a timeline for a replacement? With the current conditions, I doubt VRTP are going to be investing 20+ Million on anything for a while.

Painting has begun on the Ex-Big Dipper / Cyclone/ Hot Wheels Sidewinder. The track is being painted blue, similar colour to the supports. I suppose this rules this out as being called Gold Coaster? Pictures From Amuze.

Less about bad taste, more about insurance. Vikings Revenge was constructed in house, just like TRR. I imagine insurance would have gone sky-high.

I don't think Vikings Revenge can be bought back!

Haha. Not gonna be a very good replacement for 10 million!! Personally I think it’s going to be a while until we see a new coaster. I imagine Movie World focusing on high capacity family rides and shows for the next little while.

Could they fit a dark ride in there?

Hey friends. I was wondering how much of this building does the AA queue take up? What is the rest of the building used for? Cheers!

With Sea World receiving record capital investment at the moment, do you think Movie World will see any new major attractions or rides before 2022? If so, what do you want them to be? For me, I'd love to see a HWD and a huge Kids WB refurb come to fruition before 2023.

Does anyone know the official story why the Viking's Revenge Flume Ride closed? I assume it somehow relates to the TRR incident and the modifications made to the ride during Storms construction. Insurance costs potentially? Also, is there a possibility this ride could be refurbished by someone like Intamin and resurrected? Or do you think it will be demolished? Sorry for asking a question that I'm sure has been asked many times on here, I just can't find the answer in my searches. Cheers.

BREAKING NEWS - NEW Dragon's Revenge Swing Ride is LANDING SOON at Funfields. For those 100cm or taller this is a great ride for families! One of many exciting surprises coming to Funfields' new 'Mystic Kingdom' area this season.

While I agree Movie World needs more kids & family attractions, they need a more relevant IP to base them on. Something like Lego Movie, Sesame Street or Cartoon Network would be fantastic and give them good scope for a couple of good flats and a new dark ride.

They definitely need to spend big bucks in that area, but they really need a more relevant IP. Lego Movie, Sesame Streett or Cartoon Network would give them plenty of options for attractions and a huge draw for the family market.

What IP did you have in mind?
