Brb planning a trip to SoCal to ride HangTime If DW ever want a new coaster, something similar would be perfect for them.

Proper analysis: Steel Vengeance blows me away. I've been following construction and new a lot of this was coming but I'm still very impressed. First half - massive airtime hills and crazy inversions, as Tim said above it's the first hybrid hyper and that first half does make it look like a hyper. Then you get to the second half which feels very Wicked Cyclone-esque, lots of bunny hills and snappy turns, it's going to feel really out-of-countrol. That ride is certainly going to be one of the best in the park, which is a hard thing to achieve with their current coaster lineup! Twisted Timbers I'm not sure about. Sure it'll be a great ride, it's an RMC, but I think it's probably going to join Joker as one of the weaker RMCs. This ride just doesn't seem to have the level of monstrosity Steel Vengeance has, or other RMCs such as Wildfire or Iron Rattler for that matter. Maybe I'm only feeling this way because Steel Vengeance is taking all the spotlight, but I think Intimidator will definitely remain the best ride in the park. Railblazer looks great, and as I said the landscaping looks fantastic. I'm a bit disappointed it's just a mirror image of Wonder Woman, they could've done something original (or build the world's first T-Rex instead of building a Raptor). There's no need to talk about the capacity much, we all know it's going to be awful. And I believe this will only have 2 trains, while WW will have 3. A raptor might have worked at one of our parks, but not at big American parks like CGA and SFFT. Time Traveller is probably my favourite out of the lot. It feels like Helix x Blue Fire x spinning. It really will be an out-of-control, wild experience. Vertical drop straight out of the station, two launches, some crazy inversions and airtime moments. I'm assuming the spinning cars will work well, since they've tested them on blue fire, what would've been nicer would be to have a spinning and non-spinning train for those who don't want to spin, but that's a minor thing. People rave about Helix and Blue Fire, I think this will become one of the best coasters in the world. I eagerly await Knott's announcement (Gerstlauer infinity anyone?). Six Flags has a lot to live up to in their announcements this year, we've got one great ride already, but they're going to need three or four more to beat Cedar Fair this year.

Cedar Fair and SDC just announced a bunch of their 2018 attractions!!! This looks amazing, possibly the best RMC hybrid out there. Unfortunately the next IMO looks like it could very well be the worst (it still looks like a great ride though!) Next up is a mirror image of Wonder Woman by the looks of things, honestly though this one looks better because of the awesome landscaping and colour sceme. And finally, Mack have done it again. Mega Coaster + Spinning? Yes please. Definitely want to visit SDC now.

They'd be better off starting a new park. Sure, it's possible, but the park would have to be completely re-done in the state it's in, and with the incident last year profits are probably going to be higher with a new park. Becoming a Disney-like park, sure I'm all for DW doing that, but becoming an actual Disney park probably wouldn't work.

In what way is JL not a family ride? I'd also consider Storm to be one too. I think it's less of "Ardent needs to spend more on family attractions" and more of "Ardent needs to spend more". But family attractions are probably the right way for Dreamworld to go, it was made to be a Disney-like park, it's time they started going down that track again.

Nope which is why I think DC rivals might be able to claim longest drop, although surely the ToT track isn't 15 metres above ground?

The thing is, is it really halfway up? Perspective can be a funny thing. I made this up quickly to see if it really does go halfway. I screen-shotted part of that video, and drew a red line from about where the base of the tower is (this isn't exact of course but it would be close enough for this purpose) to where the ToT track ends (115m). Green dot is where the car is sitting. Now let's remove the image. Basic measurements show me that the height of the "tower" is about 360px, and the distance between the bottom and the green dot is about 240px. Which means the car does make it up 2/3 of the tower, i.e ~76m. DC Rivals might have a longer drop though, I'm not entirely sure since ToT's track is elevated a bit, but it's certainly not taller in height.

I hope VRTP take this as a sign that night events at Sea World are never going to work as well as they would at MW with the park's current state.

Six Flags Dubai is scheduled to open in 2019, and Six Flags certainly aren't short of money any more. 2017 wasn't the best year, but 2018 is shaping up to be a fantastic year with SFFT's Raptor already confirmed, SFOG most likely getting an RMC hybrid, and that's in addition to one or two more possible freespins.

I'd guess either 200cm or no upper limit at all

Yeah, while it looks like a great ride, I wouldn't want to be stuck in a queue for this when it opens, the capacity looks horrible.

I love this angle because it really emphasises how much of a baby GL is now. The lift hill does look a lot steeper than I was expecting.

I disagree with that, he's a very big character in comics, but few people would know that that skull is his ship (not denying it would look very cool though)

Don't think it takes a genius to point out aquaman (although if @pushbutton couldn't work it out yesterday maybe he does need it to be pointed out for him), but the other two are certainly intriguing me. The forest-y one could be Poison Ivy or (very unlikely) swamp thing, I have no clue who that giant robot head is or who the little people around him are (the Atom perhaps?).

I hope they don't cover it up, would be a nice bit of marketing to get it in now and leave it there for everyone to see.
