The park will be very very busy. You can buy a Fast Track online, but it ain’t cheap. And you’ll also struggle to find a seat to leave your towels/stuff, so really you should try and get there for opening if you can

Super man store has been replaced by a White Christmas store (Photo TPSN) Whos been this year? How is the event? Anything new or different?

Another year another silly decision to have storm closed in summer (I know they have to because of Mack Rides, but they should really do something about that)

@Brendo88 oh but don’t worry, they aren’t removing it, they’re just doing some work on it Seriously though, it will be a forever missed ride. A MW classic.

I think it’s also because of all the trees around the park, particularly Calypso, so it’s all blown into the river. The creek out the front of the park also floods very easily and causes issue for the car park. Also, all the scaffolding and netting around Black Hole has been removed. But there is now scaffolding around the river rapids

I think my favourite part is their effort for the Giant Drop

BuzzSaws reopening date pushed back to the same day as Sidewinder.

I don’t know why they’d bother changing it, I loved the style of DWs map and they ruined it by creating this. But I really do think it hasn’t been finished because of how shit it looks (I really hope that’s the case)

I’d say some of the slides have been effected by all this bad weather.

Leviathan has definitely changed the skyline from the car park, but I wish they would fix the ugly and uninviting mess that is the front entrance to the park. It’s a horrible first impression

Hopefully when they next change the lake show, they add an Atlantis theme to it, so the island can match with the new areas theme

Forgot to mention that all the track has been removed now, only the base supports structure remains

Seems like the media are back on the theme park watch and anything minor or slightly unusual will be reported on 😒

The tower is opening, but slide 2 and 3 aren’t

@RabbiJody we all were. We didn’t hear anything from them until 3-4 months before it opened. Once they did announce something, they did some video updates (one which included the worlds smallest microphone). And eventually they did release the video I’m referring to (which I believe is still played in the rides queue). It was said that the reason why we didn’t hear anything for so long was because they had to change all the branding and marketing for the ride. It was apparently supposed to be related to Suicide Squad, but that name was scrapped after the DW incident. And unfortunately, it took some time for them to come up with a new name, brand and marketing for it all

Just look at what they did for Rivals, that was an awesome video

Dreamworld billboard has been updated and it says it’s an interactive experience

SW will be first and everything else will be between September and December. Aussie World’s should realistically open first based off construction. But it probably won’t open until 2023 because of paperwork issues

It usually says on the website, but this year it doesn’t, so I’m going to assume there aren’t any available at the gate
