I’d say they have a timeframe, but they’d rather not publicly say what it was because it could change. I think they’re wanting to finish everything off with Rivertown first before reinstating the train track. As we know, the laid asphalt behind the restaurant to make it level for pedestrian and vehicle access. So the reason they can’t provide a timeframe is because the timeframe for finishing Rivertown is unknown because things are still be delivered for install.

It appears the only attractions impacted by the Cyclone are Calypso Beach, Constrictor and River Rapids at WnW. Jet Rescue at Sea World is also temporarily closed, but not sure if that’s because of the cyclone or not.

Paradise Country and Farmstay will now be opening Wednesday

Dreamworld will also reopen on Wednesday

All Village properties will be reopening on Wednesday, however Paradise Country will remain closed until further notice as they continue the clean up.

That SW flooding map looks like it was based on the parks design 20 years ago when the lake continued up the eastern half of the park before it was all filled in

That would be the case. Around the rides base 4-6 anchor points were constructed with the land to secure the tower in an event like this.

Same, but I’d say that weather event had more of an impact on DW as it destroyed one of their attractions (Vintage Cars) and they had the wildlife and Tiger Island closed for a week.

As of 5pm 3rd March, the Village Roadshow Theme Parks have confirmed all of their venues will be closed from Wednesday to Friday (at this stage), in preparation for Tropical Cyclone Alfred.

@Coppertine if that’s the case, their website is lying!

The Ferris Wheel has also officially retired at the park, hence why it has fencing around it, but it has a very small footprint and definitely won’t fit a coaster. We are also still waiting on their Aerobat to open, which has been under construction for 18 months now. If a coaster were to be opening, considering no construction has started it wouldn’t be opening until 2027 at the earliest (based on the parks recent track record).
