  1. The water remains blue so i would say it’s for PJ party
  2. @Skeeta from what I saw, it didn’t seem like it. While I was there they were mainly just looking and checking joinery of the track
  3. More of the wall has been installed
  4. Update from this morning
  5. But they haven’t announced this another evening event/thing either, so I can’t imagine it is for that either
  6. I’d assume it was for the PJ Party in a couple weeks
  7. What work are they doing on it?
  8. But I would assume based off previous years that an announcement would be mid to late this month
  9. Someone correct me if I’m wrong and probably doesn’t make sense, but I did some research, and found somewhere that the DW land can’t have properties developed on it due to the high possibility of flooding. So I assume because of DWs infrastructure it hasn’t caused for this to happen
  10. I think @Roachie is on the money there. They just had a temporary fence up, taken it down and not installing a wall you can’t see over or through at ground level. Seems like they want to hide something, such as new parts or a new ride
  11. Any form of source or is it based off they were using the giant spot lights last night? EDIT: I found the source
  12. Yeah he was @pushbutton that is a good point. I suppose if they were under new management, and invested in a whole new land for the park, then maybe a name change would have a purpose. But I still can’t see it happening.
  13. Awesome trip report, and great to get an insight into this park because it’s definitely one I want to visit. In regards to Peter Pan, how did it compare to the one in Paris? I have heard a lot of great things about the one in Shanghai and that it is the best version of the ride
  14. I can’t ever see that happening. It’s name is a parts of its history (and not just the bad history). And if they changed the name, it would still be the same place, nothing changes that. And I can’t imagine changing its name would be cheap either
  15. In regards to BuzzSaw, it was also because the queue area got so hot in the summer. Being in the themed area was even worse, so they ended up opening the large doors, and then eventually removing the themed area
  16. Just found this on the FN website
  17. I managed to find an even older photo on the parks website. This is used for their 5 minute helicopter tours. The photo is so old it has the pirate ship, corkscrew and original water park slides
  18. Oh sorry, didn’t connect that post to the one you posted earlier in the day.
  19. Yes it is If the seating is all pulled out and the stage is clear, then this could possibly mean that it won’t be used for a FN maze this year. Which could then mean that all 4 mazes are shared between the two sheds... which I hope isn’t the case
  20. Oh I really hope this leads to a new show or use for that building And another
  21. Hopefully it isn’t quite finished and they add some long tentacles that wrap around the supports
  22. Agreed @djrappa and I think what makes it even worse is it makes the entrance look really enclosed and uninviting. It isn’t until you get the front of the queue area that you can see into the park. They really should just get rid of this idea and change the entrance to how it used to be, and if they really want this type of crap, put it inside the park and let people do it if they want to.
  23. There is a lot currently happening at the park, so here is one big update for everyone. ENTRANCE CHANGES Firsly, the biggest change. And if you thought the entry process at SW couldn’t get any worse, think again. They have changed it (probably make it more efficient, but I can’t see it being in the busy periods). The big walls, lightijt framework and path you have to take isn’t good. Once you’ve had your photo taken, you go left for tickets and right if you have a pass. I was there not long after opening and they weren’t using the left entry point as they have done for many years. And the exit process also forces you have o see your photos. l SEA JELLIES Check out my full update here: In summary, I think it’s looking great RAY REEF The attraction has partly removed, with the northern entrance open. The southern area of the exhibit is currently having the flooring currently repainted VIKINGS REVENGE No changes with the ride itself, but the rock fountain has been turned back on and makes the area look better CREATURES OF THE DEEP Tne whole area has now reopened, but I definitely think some of the creature need a repaint or fixing. Hardly any of them were moving or making noise, and some were very faded. LAND RECLAMATION Still plenty of machinery on site doing their thing OTHER WORKS This area next to Seal Harbour has been fenced off with construction on the pump house underway Jet Rescue is closed for maintenance It seems that Storm has some new theming And these toilets are under refurbishment PARK MAP I haven’t looked at the new park map since the changes, and I’m glad to see they haven’t done the angle style and instead went from straight above. Did notice they have included a path, zoning the land, so this may indicate towards three new attractions or more at some point.
  24. Today’s update The exterior is now complete, and I think is looking really good (even if it isn’t the original design). Good to see they continued the blue paint across, and love the detail they made in the garden bed
