Backwards row - DC Rivals HyperCoaster
You are given a selected time range to ride it Backwards, so if there isn’t anyone there for the train departure that matches the time frame, they will just let the train dispatch with empty back seats. However I haven’t seen the train run once without anyone in them yet

@Flynn_Smith I only had my phone on me, so was hard to get a shot with the track lit up, and the Joker and GL shown clearly

This isn't something I've really thought about until now, but the park doesn't actually have any large printed maps throughout the park either. It is just the paper maps- DC Rivals HyperCoaster - soft open discussion
This is why we can't have nice things. Idiots like that taking their phones onto a ride like that isn't a smart or safe idea. And if people keep doing it, or something does happen (Someone injured by a loose item), then it could see system change to like whats SE is, and we don't want that.- Movie World New Park Map
They do have the Village eServe app, but that is only for ordering food, and doesn't have a park map- Movie World New Park Map
@Skeeta It used to have the 'Theme Parks Pocket Guide' app, which had a park map on it, and also could be sued in SW and WnW, but it was never really marketed, updated or used. So they got rid of it. MW does have a simple layout and can be easily moved around, but they do still need a map, so people know exactly where rides are when they visit the park for the first time. And as the park doesn't have signage saying where rides are, the map is necessary. But for me, this new design makes the park seem so much more complicated than it is. Maybe this is only for online to give an overview, and the in park map is different, but then if that was the case, why upload a very poor quality version of it. The same can be said for WnW, they haven't updated that map in years on the website, and it still doesn't include the Constrictor, WnW Junior, or the Buggys. Surely it isn't too difficult to update the website regularly. DW do it, and their park map on the website is always the latest version.- Movie World New Park Map
Looks like they are getting rid of the Main Street roof too.- Fright Nights 2017
I'm just assuming that the sound stages will be used this year, because I can't think of any other locations they could be this year, as it isn't the dodgems or SDSC queue.- Fright Nights 2017
I like the sound of it, but will be interesting to see where they have it. Maybe in the sound stage behind Villains Unleashed, or in one of the maze sheds next to WWF.- Movie World New Park Map
@joz Expanding on from your point. Take the kids area and WWF for example. The kids area is really just a bunch of labels of the area, with no clear indication what the majority of the rides are, or where they are exactly located. And WWF seems to just be at the back, with no clear entrance to it. Same with AA, without visiting the park already, how do you get to the ride exactly? The more I look at it, the less I like it. The angle isn't right, and the tacky style of the map doesn't seem right. It makes everything seem likes it is all on top of each and not spread out, which isn't how you want to the park to be seen.- Movie World New Park Map
Movie World have finally updated their park map on the website, with a whole new look. But personally I'm not sure if I like this new style they've gone with. Thoughts?- Japan rollercoasters
@Cactus_Matt Yeah I don't recommend any zoos in Japan (I'm sure there is a nice and caring one that i'm not aware of), the one I went to in Tokyo was a horrible and really depressing.- DC Rivals HyperCoaster - passholder and member previews

Having looked through photos again from yesterday, the only one thing I am a bit disappointed about (and isnt a major thing), is the theming on the queue and station walls. Because theyve put glass/perspex over the top of the print, it causes glare and you cant see it as well. Obviously it is to protect it from the elements and people, but I wish they used something else that wouldn't cause that glare. But besides that, everything else was great.- Is DC Rivals HyperCoaster open today? How long is the queue? How many trains?
