Alex, they do still have the surfboard backpacks on the AquaLoop. Ninja, the jetstreams aren't as suspenseful as the Aqualoop. And I wouldn't say it is as full on as aquloop either. It does feel like you do come off the slide due to the speed and the angle. You do also get a lot of spray flying into your face as you go down. Start with the outer slide and then if you enjoy that, try the middle slide. They are good fun. When I last went on it, it didn't hurt my back competed to some of the slides

Do they now allow two people to ride together? And do they have single rider tubes or is it only the double?

I wouldn't say it's scarier, I would say it's slightly more extreme though. It does have a bigger drop and it's slightly faster. I do prefer the Aqualoop compared to the wedgie, but both are really good.

Thanks for thr photos. The Dough Bros Pizza looks really good. I like the theme of the store. I cant see on the photos, but do you know what the pricing range was? I've heard the pizzas are really good.

Every time I go on it my heart rate always increases while waiting for the drop. Once you do it is fine. First time I went on it there was a lot of anticipation while walking up the stairs and waiting. Just after the peak of the loop there is a pipe spraying a lot of water, which will get you in the face. Then you will slide up the walls a couple of times on the final straight at a high speed. It is a great ride though.

Another thing was Superman Escape had both of the trains operating.

The Roxy Theatre had the Ice Age: A mammoth Christmas 4D experience showing every 20 minutes between 5:40 and 7:30. Besides that show it was mainly character appearances, elves on Main Street providing entertainment, dancers and musicians. There was always someone or something to watch if you didn't want to go on the rides.

Just got back from White Christmas and my expectations were blown. It was the first time I have been to White Christmas and once again Movie World have done an incredible job. The amount of work that goes into the night is amazing. The beginning of the night when the elves and santa come down main street and turn on the snow, smoke machines and lights for a brief moment was really good. I then went on the rides and there were things I noticed: - Tonight on the scooby-doo the strobe lights were not turned on. - The sound was working on the green lantern in-ride speakers. - The water wasn't running on Superman Escape A part from Fright Night, I haven't been to the park when the Driving School and JL have been open. - The Driving School was really good. It was a really popular attraction and the detail that went into it was great. Christmas lights and a tree have been added to the ride. And there were also a couple of spot lights spinning on the ceiling, which were moving around. The other car ride (forgotten the name) was still popular, but no where near as popular as DS. - JL wasn't running for the first half of the night due to technical issues. When walking into the queue area, I thought the detailing was really good. The animatronic and the way the ride works, I also thought were really good. The smoke machines were working, and all animatronic were moving. The only thing that didn't work that I noticed should have the door that the Green Lantern opens. I thought the build up of the story line, but as what has been discussed before, I did think the final scene was a bit of a disappointment. After destroying the final villain and escaping the ship, I was expecting something else, but it just ended. Besides that I thought the ride was a great addition. While lining up for Batwing the lights were turned on, so I only managed to see parts of them turn on. But if you did want to see this, it happens at around 7pm. After the rides, I went and found a spot on main street to watch the final parade. The pre-parade entertainment from the elves was really good. They provided good laughs and keep everyone happy. The parade was great. the effort that goes into the floats is great, and the effort that the actors, particularly the elves. Overall I thought the night was fantastic. The atmosphere was great, the lighting was awesome and the actors were entertaining. The night just made you feel happy and get more into the Christmas spirit. If you have kids I'd highly recommend that you take them, if you haven't already. And if you aren't a huge fan of Christmas I still recommend that you go and just do the rides, because the queues for all the rides, except the ones in the kids area had queues no longer than 20 minutes. I'd rate the night a 9/10

Scooby-Doo doesn't need a replacement. It's still a great ride, that I love everytime I ride it. Yes some of the animatronics don't work as well, he queue could do with a clean and fix up, but overall it's still good.

Gold Coast theme parks posted this on FB, We can announce that the NEW Dolphin Show at Sea World will be called 'Affinity'. The show will focus on the connection between humans and dolphins. It will show the beauty of Dolphins, their interaction with humans in the wild and will feature trainers on paddleboards, as Dolphins swim around, and jump over them. Stay tuned for a starting date.

I'm not entirely sure, probably. But it may also refer to the cafe, shop and surroundings. They might install a new entrance. Flooring might be changed, cafe could be upgraded. I don't think it has to be anything major, just a refurbishment.

According to the Thrillz Facebook page, Tiger Island will be receiving an upgrade in 2015.

They wouldn't do that. A few years ago the outside Jet Streams at WnW had to be modified due to safety reasons, and the speed that people were reaching. Like Jet streams I would say that the TV is just being modified to make the slide safer or so people travel down the slide quicker.

Question: Would it be possible for the claw to be modified so that it would rotate a full 360, or would the change cost a lot?

Yes it is In my opinion, I think we are going to see some major works happening for the Creatures of the Deep attraction after the Summer holidays. I think that like Dinosaur Island, it will use the lighthouse area and that building. On the theme park place's latest park update, they stated that they believe that now the top section of the bridge (next to jet rescue) has been removed, it could be the entrance to Wild. To me this makes sense, if it is still happening. And if it isn't, it could still make a good entrance.
