The parents room could also be located left of the entrance where the huts still stand (‘hidden’ behind a wall with some artwork on it). To the right of the entrance to the area, everything can stay and I don’t mind if Tweety and the train stay, but the rest should be demolished. There is so much under-utilised space there that has so much potential.

Some of the slides haven't operated since the incident a couple years ago. Slides 2 and 3 are still closed (according to the website) and slide 1 was closed at one point too.

geez that is so sad to see when you look at what that area once was. The removal of all those trees has not helped, but just the simplicity of having some grass, simple gardens and timber fencing makes such a difference.

Well according to the website it takes 40 riders. Which means 1200/40 is 30 cycles. Which means there is a cycle every 2 minutes. Which would be a max 1 minute cycle and then 1 minute to unload and reload. Which seems impossible.

I quite liked the rustic timber fence that was there, replacing that would’ve been nice.

Westfield indeed get too greedy and the owners of night quarter did not see it as worthwhile. Markets on that land next to DW could be pretty cool, but a lot of work would need to be done, especially to make the entrance fit in to the DW aesthetic so it didn’t look out of place when it wasn’t operating. So while it might be a cool idea, I don’t think it would work and if DW wouldn’t to continue with it more regularly, they could easily do it on random weekends throughout the year and maybe back it a park after dark thing

Scooby is still an enjoyable ride, it’s just disappointing when we know what it once was. They just need to spend some serious money again on it

Setup has begun

The station is looking great. They have replaced the fencing along the path towards Corroboree, but unfortunately it’s just a wire fence

The gardens have really started to grow and fill the area. I haven’t checked in a while, so not sure how long it’s been like this, but additional signage has been installed and the wait time is shown. Unfortunately they have laminated signs stuck to the wall in the photos areas The fence out the front of the park is complete
