The New Atlantis - Construction Updates
The vortex is looking very very blue. I like blue, that seems like too much blue. I liked the stone look they had in the concept art, but it seems like those pesky budget cuts are at play again

The New Atlantis - Construction Updates
I know this is probably assumed knowledge, but I have had confirmation from a friend that the parts for Leviathan have already started to arrive, but there are some delays on a lot of the parts that are coming in

Expedition Theme Parks: The History of Dreamworld
It’s a real shame the full dream of John was never completed. I really wish he had kept the park because it would really be a stand out and would literally be like our very own Disney.

COVID-19 & Theme Park Closures
BSS was closed for maintenance before the park shut. So I would say they’ve completed the maintenance and just haven’t removed the fencing because there is no point in doing so. There isn’t a need to spend money on the labour to remove/relocate the fencing when it isn’t essential right now.

COVID-19 & Theme Park Closures
I love that Aussie World posted this, it gives the park a good reputation that they are making the most of the time while they are closed SW and DW have been doing updates on the animals which has been great to see, but if they are completing maintenance on the rides while the parks are shut, they should also be posting about it, so people are aware of it. I’ve seen so many comments asking whether maintenance is being done but there’s no response

Creature Cruise at Dreamworld
Dreamworld - Remembering the Golden Years posted this, this morning I never knew this was an attraction and there doesnt seem to be much about it anywhere online. I found it ran from 1997 to 2000 and was a part of the Village Oval (which I believe today is Dreamworks). Does anyone remember the attraction? I assume it was similar to Disney’s Jungle Cruise? Was it any good? Did it run on the Murrissipi River?

What should dreamworld replace the defunct log ride with and whats next for dreamworld
Power splash would be the perfect attraction for DW and is a great replacement for RHLR. The footprint of RHLR covers around 140 metres, but the Power Splash does cover a lot more area, so it would head towards the Blue Lagoon area. Hopefully if DW are happy with Mack and their new coaster, hopefully that will lead towards more rides from them.

What's next for the Future of Wet 'n' Wild Gold Coast?
WnW has always been the poor popular water park because it’s the oldest and has always been the place for teenagers to go. And the park itself looks bigger, when in fact, on slide count it is smaller. What I still like with WnW is the amount of plants and trees across the park, especially around areas like Calypso Beach. If WWW gets a lazy river and fills it with plants, so it makes it feel like you are somewhere else and not in a water park or near a road (with a school and housing near by), then it will take the park to another level. For a few years now I have seen WWW as the superior water park and since Fully 6 was installed and the park wide refurb, its without doubt better

Stage 3 only allows for 100 people within one location, so unless a compromise for theme parks is made, they won’t reopen until stage 4 or 5 (which haven’t been discussed yet). We may seem some delays, but they said earlier this year that parts would begin arriving in May, and they have, so it seems to be on track. It may not be open by Summer, but I’d expect by Easter 2021
