  1. This Saturday night has now Sold Out
  2. Last year they didn’t announce it until December 16, so there is still a chance they will. It has been very successful the last two years, so I’d be surprised if we didn’t see it return, or the park didn’t extend their hours
  3. This time of year is generally the best because they run the rides with all trains going, and there aren’t really queues. Just see how crowds are when you arrive, or maybe go on a couple of rides and then decide, but I very much doubt you’ll need it. After Boxing Day, for sure though.
  4. The logo for 'Seal Guardians' has been revealed
  5. Here are two satellite images from early October: And did a bit of digging through FB and found all these. Looking forward to seeing some photos of the whole park once’s it’s opened

  7. I thought the experience riding backwards was unlike anything else, and was complexity different from going forwards. The only reason I won't be riding it backwards again is because it made me feel very sick afterwards.
  8. WWF maintenance has reappeared on that website
  9. Maybe WWF has reopened, can anyone confirm?
  10. One reason I’ve heard for WWF being closer for so long is because they’ve been trying to improve the harness system, and it seems they may have come up with a solution based off this pictures or are trialling it (Photo from TPSN)
  11. This years Park Map
  12. I've noticed that it comes down to the staff member. Some staff only take people from the single rider queue if they absolutely have to, while some staff will pretty much take someone from the single rider queue every train. The first time I went on it, I went through the single ride queue and ended up waiting longer in that queue than the main queue (About 45 minutes). Well the second time I went in the single rider queue, the queue was the same length as the first time, but I was only queued for 10 minutes (Normal queue was about 60 minutes).
  13. Seal Guardians at SW has had its opening date pushed back to early 2018
  14. Don’t just assume, but this is from SW Facebook page
  15. SW posted this on FB. Seeing it like this complete, I think the volcano looks really cool at the back of the area. Along with the water spraying everywhere
  16. Some smoke effects coming out of it would be satisfactory enough for me
  17. Yeah we did (which were the pipes from the waterslide). I would say that the volcano will erupt, otherwise why would they leave that pipe work there. We will see.
  18. And really, only people who are visiting the park for the first time or who haven’t visited for a long time are going to buy one. Realistically, how many people with yearly passes will buy a Fast Track. If it’s busy, rather than wasting money, come back another day and go on the rides you missed out on then.
  19. The area officially opened on Saturday I think its definitely a great addition for the park, and can really make a visit to the park last all day (if you have kids). Castaway Bay is a great area within the park, and is great to see they’ve expanded from that. I haven’t yet seen it, but would be interesting to see if the volcano has any effects, or is purely just there because why not.
  20. Preparations have begun for the light show (Photo TPSN)
  21. The new commercial for VRTP, I think is really good:
  22. Volcano is now complete, and sea animal figures have appeared throughout (Photos TPSN)
  23. Carnivale is returning in January 2018, on the 5th, 6th, 13th, 14th, 19th, 20th. They will be the 'Aquacolour Lightshow': In a celebration of light and sound, the Fountaineers of Vivid Sydney bring you the biggest lightshow the Gold Coast has ever seen, the spectacular Aquacolour. Aquacolour is an immersive lighting installation that merges extraordinary lighting sculptures with contemporary music to create an awe-inspiring canvas of art. See the iconic Sea World Lake transformed at 8.30pm each night via a stunning display of light, creativity and music like never before. https://seaworldcarnivale.com.au/ Tickets for Adults are $30 and Kids are $20 Last year one of the critiques we all had on here was the entertainment wasn't the best, and they should make use of the lake and have a colour/light/fire/music show, so it is great to see they have gotten rid of the 'famous' singers, and are doing this instead. Can't wait to see how much they improve the event, and hopefully will prove that the movie to SW was a great idea.
  24. Maybe they are bringing back the vintage cars that used to sit in Main Street, and they’ve installed those meters in there for those cars
  25. While MW are fixing/changing things; they should open up the AA alley, so it can be accessed from SDSC. Make movement through the park so much better
