  1. Ride isn’t open yet, massive queue going back to the popcorn stand/toilets next to the entrance
  2. WOW WOW WOW WOW WOW Just had my first ride on it, and it was incredible. Exceeded my expectations. The air time, the forces, the speed. Wow. What a coaster it is. World class. Not a dull moment throughout, and the surprise airtime for longer than you expect is awesome. What a weird feeling the NIL provides. And the close calls as you move throughout the track is awesome. Wait for about 45 minutes in single rider queue, while normal queue was about the same time. Loading and unloading was very efficient. Well done MW. Now for an update: The road has reopened, and finishing touches being made throughout the area And the poles for the shading have now been installed, just the sails to go
  3. What an awesome trailer that was, and I must say that is probably one of the best ones they've done. Well done to MW. And it is good to see that they mentioned all the mazes, rather than a particular focus.
  4. The concept for the loose item storage area and roatating while on the ride (despite being a similar idea to MDMC), I saw at Universal studios Japan, for the Flying Dinosaur coaster. Thought how simple, cool and efficient it was I hoped one day that exact system would come here, and it had. Well done to MW. Overall great update, very glad to see shading is going up, but hopefully it doesn't ruin the theming in the queue (I doubt MW would make that mistake), and I can't wait to ride some time over the next couple of days
  5. Just been past the park, and tonight all the lights around the fosters were red. Looked very cool
  6. That seems a bit ridiculous. Come on DW. Maybe there have been some technical difficulties today for its reopening, but after closes them for the whole year, doing a refurbishment, and then on the day of reopening, they close again, without a reopening date.
  7. Awesome to see they got it open today, and can't wait to ride it in a couple days time. Great to see in the video, and hear from others that everyone was so excited, even the staff, to have the ride open today. Will definitely be riding it a few times, and I'll try Backwards for sure. Queue area does look really good, even if they are just walls with an image of them. It displays the Rivals between characters, and actually figurines would probably get easily damaged in the queue (As seen by GL). The four split queues is great, and good to still know that Fast Track will be coming eventually, but for know they are being fair. Massive congrats to MW and can't wait to ride this many times.
  8. With most of the queue outside, going to be very hot in the summer Or is there a lot of indoor queuing and it's because the queue is already that long?
  9. Do you have to get a locker before riding? Or is there storage at the station?
  10. I'd quite happily pay $10 to ride it backwards
  11. I've just gone past and it's no longer there
  12. I did Universal Japan, and it is an incredible park. Awesome amount of rides, attention to detail is amazing. Harry Potter area is unlike anything else. It is a must. But you will need to purchase Fast Pass, the more rides for it the better, as it is a very busy park the majority of the time (I went late March last year), and queues are quite lengthy.
  13. That really isn't the queue, that doesn't start until you are inside the building/under the shelter. The paths are just done that way to walk around the themed wall prints. I'd say though that the paths on the left are the exit area. @xRazzBerryx remember there isn't any Fast Track
  14. Nearmpa update from August 28 And here is a photoshopped, higher quality image of the whole area
  15. @themeparkaddict they reopen tomorrow
  16. I can't imagine everywith will be packed up from the carpark, road cleaned, carpark fixed and fencing removed by the time of the official opening. I imagine a lot of the carpark will reopen, but can't see the main road being used just yet.
  17. Monday or Tuesday is my guess. They are progressing very quickly. When I was there this morning, there ate tonnes of workmen around the site. The fence alongside the new path, is having the railings installed.
  18. WOW WOW WOW WOW WOW As you can see, the cranes are already dismantled, and are living the carpark right now.
