  1. DW have just posted some videos on their snapchat showing a sneak peek for the Zombie Evilution at Park After Dark, and they've had glow to do the scare actors, and it actually looks pretty cool.
  2. I personally think having a good joker head within the loop would've over done it. The one at the top of the lift hill is perfect, any more than that would make it seem like it was a joker coaster, which it isn't really. And any coasters I've seen with theming throughout the track (particularly the some of the coasters at SixFlags) look tacky. Much prefer just vegetation as they are doing now
  3. 9 News did a story on it tonight: http://www.9news.com.au/national/2017/08/23/05/22/new-laws-following-dreamworld-disaster?ocid=Social-9NewsGC
  4. Well I'd say because the ride is already in testing, the station is nearly complete, probably just theming, single and queue rails to go in there. And then landscape, paths, theming and the entrance and exit into the area.
  5. As they've been advertising it as opening this October, I could see there being a soft opening at the end of September, and then the official opening at the beginning of October (In time for FN).
  6. The bits of that truck look like the jokers hair
  7. Well based off the theming we've seen so far, it will be more than just joker and batman
  8. Off topic, I think when we refer to it in short, it should be DCR.
  9. I definitely think it would be a good idea to not have it at first, to make it fair to everyone. But the park could make a killing from the ride for Fast Track, especially until at least after the Summer holidays. And if the back seats are an uncharge, they could make them a killing too. But as the queue has four lanes, and if the ride doesn't have Fast Track, then it could be: Backseats, Normal (Front half), Normal (Back Half) and Single Rider.
  10. I'd say they've mentioned that because the ride is advertised on their website and visible in the park, just not operational. I would be very surprised if the ride didn't offer fast track, especially as it has four queues
  11. A look at the fence toppers lit up Please be aware that these photos don't truly show the exact lifting levels, and how much they light up the logos. The banner has also been taken down
  12. Driving alone the highway I didn't mind how it looked, but wasn't expecting the lighting to be around the column, instead of underneath the rakes and MW logo.
  13. Don't know how the dodgems will work with there is a maze in the way: Intencity Dodgems Closed for scheduled maintenance on Thursday 17th August and will re-open Tuesday 5th September 2017.
  14. Look forward to walking through the path under the coaster leading to TG. Perfect area for some great photos
  15. MW logo is in place from the main entrance sign all the way to the station. The VR one has returned here though
  16. The rakes never left, except for that one near the station. The rest are still in place. The MW one has returned near the station
  17. There was a water truck there wetting the ground where the dust was flying everywhere
  18. This morning update A wall and path is being constructed, linking to the bridge The land is being flattened and grass is being laid The shelters have completely gone And the station has received a coat of paint
  19. That's a shame, that WW float looked awesome. I'm not expecting them to make the parade exactly like the DC one, but changing the parade a bit would be nice to see
  20. @JaggedJanine Sorry, I meant the current parade that's at 3:30.
  21. Has the parade changed back to what it was before the DC event or has it incorporated some of the elements, such as the WW float?
  22. Both shelters completely gone now and workmen are on cherry picker inspecting the top area of the lift hill
