  1. Another side finished, final small part to go:
  2. Well here you go: They have also moved a couple more supports under the shelter in preparation for installation
  3. @Skeeta one of the supports is in that circle, but the other ones are in the middle of that large open space where there are tonnes of footings
  4. Awesome news. Anyone figured out the layout yet 😋
  5. Stay tuned everyone for photos, unless someone else gets there first.
  6. I agree that this may not be for our coaster, but this photo was only posted in mid December and Lost Gravity opened just over a year ago. And yes this wasn't posted by Mack themselves, but my a professional German theme park photographer. So there is a possibility.
  7. The Spongebob 3D movie at SW is closed for maintence, reopening date to be advised. So I guess that won't be opening again. Also, the shade sail on the BRO at WWW has been completely removed now, and BuzzSaw is now open 10-5 everyday.
  8. @Santa07 something like this? (This has been posted before, but for those who haven't seen it, it is Mack Rides tickets twisting track piece they've ever made, but no confirmation whether this is for MWs coaster or not)
  9. Couple of construction update photos, quality isn't the best because of the sunsetting. And because these are apparently a part of TG, I'll post these here:
  10. Well according to Wikipedia, Kingda Ka is a hypercoaster
  11. Just been to the site, and track and columns has doubled in the last couple of days (About 24 track pieces) Just a couple more pictures, or things that weren't take earlier
  12. Thanks for the update @Theme Park Girl, plenty of progress since i checked it out a couple of days ago. Those orange pipes where the station is, were installed a couple of weeks ago, and are for the electrical systems for the station. Also good to see they are really protecting those trees by supporting them, unless I'm mistaken and they are the relocated ones. Either way, glad MW are keeping them.
  13. Wow that's an insane offer. Let's hope plenty of people take advantage of it, and real get those big crowds going again
  14. Well just walk through Ocean Parade and there is one there. The Park opening behind the store may have one too. Just some thoughts of the store from what I've seen so far. Seems basic, and a shame they didn't get a ducted aircon system, as those ones on the wall are a bit of an eye sore. The Pick and Mix wall looks pretty cool, and for 14 packets it costs $9.99, seems like a good price. Great to see Jelly Belly getting on board and opening the store in the park, and will definitely add an extra element to a corner of the park which was worn out. For me though, from the images it does seem a bit cramped in the corner, and that might be mainly because of the large scale of the Lego Store. As I said, it may just be the images, so I won't completely judge it, and for me it is a very welcome addition to the park. But yeah, don't know yet.
  15. It may sound stupid, but it is actually a real fun game to play (particularly after a couple of drinks). It obviously isn't nice when you get a bad one, but watching someone else get a bad one is always good.
  16. Maybe part of the first drop as it turns and twists down
  17. Plenty more track on site today (Photo TPSN)
  18. Most of the general public don't know what a hypercoaster is, so I don't think MW would market it as one, even if it is one. The general public will just see a big add, bright coloured awesome coaster out the front of the park, that you'll drive along as you head into MW. MW could just say it is over 60 metres tall, and we wouldn't know exactly what it is, so we could class it as a hyper coaster. Hyper coaster or not, it's going to be awesome, and provide a coaster experience that's never been had in Australia before
  19. And the BB theatre is actually outside (no back wall), they just putting up black sheeting when the show was on to make it look like it was inside.
  20. Well in that case, well the ground level in the area is roughly 15 metres above sea level. So that definitely makes this new coaster a hypercoaster. Glad we got that one sorted.
  21. That's exactly my point @Skeeta, I don't really think there are set measurements because they are rounding levels are very different as the coaster gets taller, but a hypercoaster it seems like it must be exact.
  22. Will also add that for the definition of a hypercoaster, it is either the height or the drop measuring greater than 200 feet (61 m). So the lift hill (which i imagine you measure from the track before the lift hill, to the top of the lift hill, measured vertically) may be under 61m, but if the base of the drop, almost touches the ground, then it could be 61m or more, therefore making it qualified as a hypercoaster. The Flash at Lewa Adventure Park (which is a hyper coaster) is 200.2ft, so only just reaches the definition height.
  23. For me a hypercoaster is a coaster in which is designed for speed and airtime. Surely people can't say that if it is 60m and not 61m, they are going to say, "Nope not a hypercoaster, isn't tall enough." Like come on, 1 metre, surely. I know these figures for the definition are always said in feet, to make the numbers whole, but if it isn't 61 metres or more, surely if it is that close, it can be. Coaster terminology is an area that Im overly familiar with, so someone correct me if Im wrong in saying all this.
