I find WWW a 'until lunch time park'

I really do hope that they don't remove the ride. Come Christmas the queues for the kids rides, JR and Storm would be beyond crazy. Maybe as they started the maintenance they came across an issue and are waiting for new parts, and aren't sure how long it will be before they arrive. If they are removing it, then hopefully they would remove the Castle and can't install a new ride in that area.

I can't see them painting those things black, when they've been installed. Surely when they would be made black during production of them.

I was just surprised because it was supposed to be reopening today, but only just yesterday was the website updated and the date changed to add another 2 weeks

I was surprised when I saw there were only 6 nights this year. Last year there was 12 nights. But they do usually add some extra Nights towards the beginning or during the event.

DD and he villains area is now closed for maintenance until Novermber 19.

This years event is on December 9, 10, 11, 16, 17 and 18. Redemption tickets available now, admission tickets avaibke Monday. All the usual things, and correct me if I'm wrong, but there will be a Fairy Garden this year, which I can't remember from previous years. Rides include SE, Batwing, DD, SDSC, JL and the kids area.

For me: Best Maze for scares: Wyrmwood Best indivual set: C2 These 2 were the stand out mazes for me this year. I got non stop scares in Wyrmwood, and there were extra minor elements that I don't remember from last year that really added to it and improved it. The detailing in the sets, and movement in the kitchen was great. F13 was good, but felt shorter which took away some of the great parts of the Maze last year, like that long tunnel. And for me when I did FDTD on the second night the actors weren't really scaring, just more staring at you, but the sets did look great. But from what people have said, it had improved, which is great to hear.

Obviously this had major effected the park, but I don't think we will no the full effect it has had until the park reopens, and the summer holidays arrive. I'd like to think that a lot of locals will show their support to the park, which I will be. But until the usual January madness at the park arrives, I think that will give the true indication have much this incident has effected the park.

Carnivale is usually around Easter time. This year it was mid April through to mid May. So imagine it would be similar dates in 2017

I know this hanging guard has been there since the original makeover to AA, but I've never seen this 'animatronic' element to it.

Just checked MWs maintenance page, and originally it was saying that just DD would be closed for maintenance this week, but it's been updated and the whole Villains Precinct is closed this week.

I think the audit would be complete sperate for the river Rapids, because of all the other investigations that the ride will go under. And the audits for the rest of the rides is so that they can reopen after it's been proven they are safe, while the future of river Rapids is unknown

Movie World is celebrating the 75th Anniversary of Wonder Woman this Saturday. There’ll be more Wonder Woman appearances than ever before, pre-parade giveaways and kids (4-12yrs) dressed as Princess of the Amazons or any Justice League superhero can register to feature beside Wonder Woman in the Streets Star Parade.

It was stated on the news just before saying that the park will not reopen until all rides have been checked over and the funerals of the victims have been held. I imagine that it may not be until mid to late November before the park reopens.

There are currently 3 of the rapids boats in the carparks, just out the front of the BuzzSaw, with the other 6 to be brought out shortly. Apparently they are all going to be individually weighed as part of the rides investigation.

I wonder how much of an effect this incident will have on the completion and opening date of the LEGO store and the completion of Stage 2 of Tiger Island.

Do people think the ride will ever reopen? Because I personally am not sure if the park would modify the ride, or they just wouldn't risk it, despite the likeliness of this type of event happening again is very unlikely. And I imagine there would be quite a bit of backlash from the GP if they were to reopen the ride. But I imagine their are quite a few people who don't think the park should reopen (and I do know a couple of people that think that), but I don't think thats an option. It could take years before people gain trust from the parks again, or this event is not the first thing people think of when they visit the park or go on any rides, but eventually the park will return to its normal self. I know that as soon as the park reopens, as soon as I can I will be visiting the park to show my support.

Police are not finished with the scene and don't want it to be affected by anyone in anyway. I doubt it will open until it's been given the clear. It was said on the news that it was believed that DW would've returned to normal operations on Saturday, with the area and rides around river rapids to remain closed.
