We thought that 10 years ago, but then they went and built two coasters in the carpark. There’s (almost) always more space, just depends on the type of attraction

The Madagascar sign has been removed. Work is happening to the bridge. And the boats are temporarily unavailable while these works happen And here’s a look at the progress of the ball pit and stage

  3. Dreamworld - Kenny & Belinda's Dreamland Updates

themagician replied to Ogre's topic in Theme Park Discussion
It’s only been closed for a week before the carousel has already reopened with its new theme. I suspect it may close again at some point to allow for some final works to be compete.

The theming is the exact same as it was when it was Gingy’s Glider. Other than the removal of Gingy. There was no mention of the ride on the information walls at the start of the area, so maybe it’s retiring this year.

Superman is closed for maintenance from tomorrow until late March. Could we see the construction happen during this time?

  8. Dreamworld - Kenny & Belinda's Dreamland Updates

themagician replied to Ogre's topic in Theme Park Discussion
It’s great to see the park is being so transparent about what’s happening and what’s to come. And it’s great they’ve put effort into the banners on the construction fencing too.

  12. Dreamworld - Kenny & Belinda's Dreamland Updates

themagician replied to Ogre's topic in Theme Park Discussion
The park confirm the Escape Coaster is a temporary name and it will be Kenny’s Forest Flyer. They also confirm the Carousel and Ball Pits names on the website (which we already knew), but the other flat ride names are yet to be confirmed

  13. Dreamworld - Kenny & Belinda's Dreamland Updates

themagician replied to Ogre's topic in Theme Park Discussion
Dronkey Flyers has been completely taken off the website, so my guess is the Wiggles Sea Planes is replacing it

  14. Dreamworld - Kenny & Belinda's Dreamland Updates

themagician replied to Ogre's topic in Theme Park Discussion
The concept artwork still shows Belinda’s Tree House and my guess is it will stay as this. ‘Ball Pit’ within the name is likely temporary. I’m not sure. Nothing was said about these.

  15. Dreamworld's new IP applications 2023

themagician replied to New display name's topic in Theme Park Discussion
I’ve updated my post. But from the media event, this is my understanding of the announcement. For example, ‘Escape Coaster’ will be named Kenny’s Forest Flyer (which was revealed in the concept artwork for the ride).

  16. Dreamworld's new IP applications 2023

themagician replied to New display name's topic in Theme Park Discussion
My understanding is Candy Flyer is a temporary name, so the park can stage the refurb and transformation into Dreamland. I believe all the rides will have the IP of ABC Kids or Kenny/Belinda on them

  17. Dreamworld - Kenny & Belinda's Dreamland Updates

themagician replied to Ogre's topic in Theme Park Discussion
Excluding the carousel, I don’t think any of those names are permanent. They’re just place holder names while the refurb to suit Dreamland happens

  18. Dreamworld’s Ocean Parade Expansion 2023

themagician replied to themagician's topic in Theme Park Discussion
It might not be, but the theme of the dodgems is being updated to suit Ocean Parade so I’d assumed the name would also be ocean based

  19. Dreamworld’s Ocean Parade Expansion 2023

themagician replied to themagician's topic in Theme Park Discussion
And the dodgems have a temporary name

  23. Dreamworld - Kenny & Belinda's Dreamland Updates

themagician replied to Ogre's topic in Theme Park Discussion
The Dreamworks Experience sign at the front has been removed They haven’t wasted any time with their works on Mad Jungle Jam Shrek is gone All the other statues remained, but can’t imagine it will be much longer as almost every other reference has been removed. Except for attraction info signage, the carousel (which closes in a couple days) and Dronkeys

  24. The Giant Drop Refurbishment 2022

themagician replied to themagician's topic in Theme Park Discussion
