Couldn’t agree more Arkham is a great coaster and one of my Favourite in the park, hopefully when they get her open she does have a few more years left in her

Arkham asylum is currently under maintenance till 7th(today), if it reopens tomorrow remains to be seen.

Aussie world did respond to my comments about SX360 and it’s apparently in final stages of commissioning the ride.

It was announced in a parks post in February that dreamworld was not building any new major attractions as they changed there plans and that was before Greg took over. An anyone confirm if Arkham Asylum and dodgem are opened, both no longer listed as under maintenance if any one visiting today (I have messaged movie world for information on Arkham will post when they respond)

Rode the ride on the 15th December only thing working on big room was lights on turn table no sound and music was quiet and no other lights were on. Rode during day and during white Christmas.

Follows the theme with this ride full of technical issues, disappointing that since they relaunched it as next generation more often effects and screens don’t work as movie world planned for the ride. I preferred the ride when the disco room was loud, with heaps of working lights and lasers

Yeah rivals train maintenance bay was empty on visit 15th December. Do hyper coasters require more often wheel replacement ?

Arkham asylum now with no reopening date again, has any one visited the park and know if it opened on the 17th Of December or has it stayed under maintenance the whole time

Only down side for their skyflyer is it’s height restrictions 140cm minimum height or 110-140cm can ride if they ride with an adult seaworld skyflyer is 120cm minimum but it is great to see new permanent attractions

It’s been listed opening soon on there website since March and we are still waiting

Disappointed another ride down during white Christmas and a day before Qld school holidays hopefully Scooby isn’t down for long with Arkham scheduled on reopen on 18th

Here is a section from story Outdoor rides within Sea World will be exempt from the height limit, however, new buildings in the theme park will have to adhere to the three-storey limit. which mean the rides won’t be affected, only buildings

I hope we have another 3-5 years as well, but movie world won’t run it well past being reliable like tower of terror (dreamworld). Hopefully we find out soon when it’s coming out of maintenance or not

she was open on tuesday and was running fine. It was down for planned maintenance 11-21 October so this is new hopefully it’s not serious and they are able to get Arkham opened again at some point these school holidays at least for a final ride if she is getting close to her retirement. I was hoping she had a few more years Only time will tell

They have this at movie world, and have used it for my younger brothers make it easier to get on to rides without getting measured everything, didn’t know dreamworld had it tho

Well it’s been long expected to happen, when it was announced in 2017 so the rides were on borrowed in current location. I expect the new slingshot to be build and opened mid next year and that depend on council agreement to the plan getting approved if it hasn’t been done yet

From the concept photos it does appear to be a short tower, so looks to be almost at max height just need to build the concrete floor and fence to complete tower
