High attendance + long history. We've covered this before.

Maelstrom was due for an update, especially the end video that no one watches, but I don't think Frozen is the answer. I know why Disney are doing it and it half fits thematically, but it should have been put in MK or DHS, not Epcot. Fortunately I got to ride Maelstrom for the first (and last) time, last year.

Not sure Disney will allow it in a non-Disney park, but you never know given they don't have one in Australia.

Define short period of time. A ride won't come to a stop within a second.

I think it had more to do with the fact that caffeine couldn't be added to non-cola soft drinks up until a few years ago.

I've been to a function in the queue area. I was a sad panda when I realised the ride wasn't actually operating, they were just using the space.

Six Flags was bankrupt in 2009.
