Should, but the M1 can get chockers on a Sunday afternoon so be warned.

I think they care about more than just revenue.

Can you two please get a room.

I've seen one at Dreamworld. You'd have to knock down a wall though.

Visited the Aquarium two weekends ago, theming has certainly been increased. The Samsung info screens are a good idea in theory, but the viewing angle on them is atrocious.

Yeah, steam is dead, I don't include it when I'm talking about the effects.

MW 15/10/2012 Most of this is probably old but you'll get over it - [*]All the effects working on Superman, projected red/blue circle that's meant to be Superman flying past is very realistic. [*]Nice to see automated ticket machines have been installed, doesn't affect annual pass holders like me but it makes sense to have them. [*]Also nice to see that they now serve "western style" food in the Wild West Roadhouse, although I stuck to my new favourite being the fully loaded nachos. [*]Looks like the unlimited frozen coke is now served in souvenir cups rather than sipper bottles which makes more sense. [*]I found Ice Age to be one of the rougher 4D rides that I've been on, they weren't afraid to use the water sprayers either. Shame about the fairly barebones preshow area, but I guess it's cheaper when you replace the movie every couple of years rather than have long termers like Shrek. [*]Speaking of Shrek, its old shop is closed and no longer used for selling "cheap" merchandise. The shop next to Take One is also closed, although for the life of me I can't remember what it was.

So I've avoided this thread since the ride opened until I got the chance to ride it for myself, which happened today. The park was fairly busy for a Monday, I'm not sure why there were so many families, I'm not aware of any states still being on school holidays and the student free day isn't until next week. Superman lineup was somewhere around 30-45 minutes, although I jumped about four rows (hurray for single rider). Rode Justice League twice, back to back, first wait was about 5 minutes, second was walk on. First ride everything seemed to be synched, although the street scene was very static, nothing like in the video above. I got off wishing there was some type of feedback in the guns so you could tell if you hit something. Was then surprised on the second ride to find out the guns are actually meant to vibrate. My main issue is with the 3D screens, apart from when you're meant to focus on a particular spot (ie. face/chest) I had no idea if I was actually managing to hit anything (lack of vibration the first time round not helping). Even more so with the smaller ones, it felt like they were just for decoration rather than interactivity. Had sync problems on the second ride too, on the final screen everyone just stood around like stunned mullets. The invisible person beside me managed to score about 4,000 each time. I'd like to see at the end a summary of everyone's scores, I have no idea how I went against the people behind me. I hate to compare it to Midway Mania! given the difference in cost, but the screen interaction and scoring is handled so much better. Still, if they can get all the animatronics and other effects working it's a welcome addition to the park. I did notice one lady who was worried about riding, all the warning signs do make it look more thrilling than what it is. Ice Age 4D is more violent with motion yet most people don't hesitate watching it. Didn't notice any technical rehearsal sign but then I wasn't looking for one.

I look forward to riding this... when the school holidays are over.

People torrent TV shows?!?

They get sanitised anyway.

Heaven forbid some people actually like the show.

I'd consider dropping in for a churro.

Count me as one who stays, I can't be bothered leaving the park to save $5-10. There always seems to be queues in the park for food too.

Telling anyone what their favourite ride should be makes you a bad person.

Most visitors who have never been to an overseas park won't know that.

Pretty sure the Superman thing is an urban legend - http://message.snopes.com/showthread.php?t=12448

I heard Southern Hemisphere.

You need to stop comparing Australian parks with overseas ones then. We'll never have the budget for a Midway Mania!

It stops/deters people from sharing passes.

Your victim persecution sob story is starting to get really tiring.

Closest ride to residences isn't it?

Obama gag wins.

I can sorta understand that for the first ride, but multiple times there's not much anxiety or expectations left.

Now I've heard everything.
