  1. Wait until you get to the giant drop @Brad2912. Three seat social distancing.
  2. Did you see how long it took for giant drop to get a sign at the queue
  3. I just went on it and thought it was amazing. Better than the Australian one in my opinion. If you don’t think it’s good, you probably don’t care for fly over attractions.
  4. Not to be rude, but comparing her situation to your situation doesn't make sense. Why would Brad call you a baby that wants money when in your scenario, you aren't getting a payout?
  5. He isn't saying that. He's implying that in the video the issue is that she won't speak to anyone or seek help but needs monetary compensation pushed forward. I think Brad is saying they should be more focused on helping her mentally than getting a payout faster. She isn't going to be more accepting of the incident once they pay her out, so although its reasonable for them to want the money, its not going to resolve the issue brought forward in the video. That's what I think is meant anyway.. The issue of her coming to accept what happened and to be able to speak about it isn't directly going to be solved by a payout.
  6. Ive always put a positive spin on Dreamworld's announcements or at least tried, but the removal of BRC and Buzzsaw sooner than later is extremely disappointing. I feel Dreamworld is again relying on a singular attraction to turn a positive cash flow as they did with SV.
  7. I really hope they don't remove Buzzsaw. They can't afford to remove any more thrill rides even after the new coaster opens. Yeah I don't understand what the duplicate of the Big Red Car is? Unless they are referring to the new kids ride yet to be announced.
  8. Disney haven't been performing like shit for four years have they?
  9. The attendance when they reopen will be mostly interstate meaning the crows aren't likely going to be much larger than they were prior to closure. They are already running at less capacity because of Covid so I don't think 100 people being laid off, some that are only working behind the scenes, is going to compromise guest experience to the point it is of concern. Guest experience is more likely to be compromised when more than half of your major attractions are closed compared to being short staffed. They will be lucky to break even when they reopen. Dreamworld knows they aren't going to be funding the loan repayment by reopening, merely hoping to stop the losses that occur while closed. Until restrictions ease and everything settles domestically and internationally, there isn't a big enough demand to have a full opening of the park.
  10. I don't recall it being painted while people were in park, I thought they were painting it after hours. Probably wrong though.
  11. @AlexB From my knowledge, they have to have a working relationship with the business. The definitions you outlined above of a worker don't include patrons.
  12. Industrial manslaughter is used when a worker or someone carrying out a duty is killed.
  13. You’ve only given them 1 day to take the whole track down now that actual demolition has begun.
  14. Events have to be canceled to prevent it spreading, what do you want them to do. Not act and let it spread so businesses can continue operating? Than we have hospitals packed with sick patients, people dying everywhere, lack of resources to support society. You aren’t being logical, sometimes negative consequences stem from preventative measures, but that’s life. The government have rolled out a package for smaller business to continue. Whether you think it is sufficient is up to you. But you can’t get angry that a park like Disneyland closed when so many people gather there in tight spaces.
  15. Suicide isn’t a virus though, completely different circumstances.
  16. You are saying ardent has caused this substantial drop in share price? Everyone knows that if it wasn’t for Corona Virus, the share price would be at a higher value than it is now. So blaming ardent for ‘letting this happen’ doesn’t make sense to me. And before you say ‘the park has X,Y and Z problems’, yes it does but management (Ardent) have made the effort to change for a while now.
