I think Australian parks saw the whole immersion thing and went "nah". Big rides that can be seen across the parks also have a job of building anticipation, excitement and helps create an atmosphere that so much is always going on. Not saying one is better than the other, just that there are different view points and I think they GC Parks are clearly going for one options (or have in the past).

Seeing as Spooky Nights buffet included a drink on arrival and was around the $45 mark for Adults and $25 for kids, only way I can see the price increase is the hat.
