  1. From my understanding it will last until 90% double vaccination which they are estimating to be mid-late january.
  2. From what I've read there are also plans to build this model for opening in 2023
  3. On display at IAAPA 2021, Coasterforce shared these images of the S&S Axis. Looks rather unique and would fit perfectly into the plot of land Arkham sits on without even touching the building or courtyard.
  4. I hate using the whole "In the southern hemisphere", but where would a larger "Official Warner Bros Batman exhibit" be in the northern Hemisphere, in December?
  5. "Expression of Interest" doesn't even mean a job is available. They just want to know whos interested in working in those positions.
  6. Then it becomes a process of elimination. Which if its not on any site where the info is public, it has to be at a part where the info is not.
  7. Not asked to me, but feel the same way so: By that point herd immunity will well and truly be in effect... so no?
  8. Yeah its a bad idea. Replace the whole thing with a RoboCoaster and then retheme to Suicide Squad.
  9. I think Australian parks saw the whole immersion thing and went "nah". Big rides that can be seen across the parks also have a job of building anticipation, excitement and helps create an atmosphere that so much is always going on. Not saying one is better than the other, just that there are different view points and I think they GC Parks are clearly going for one options (or have in the past).
  10. Seeing as Spooky Nights buffet included a drink on arrival and was around the $45 mark for Adults and $25 for kids, only way I can see the price increase is the hat.
  11. Waiting helps with budgeting and tender processes. For sure the old needs to be removed first. Never implied otherwise but if you remove closer to the new installation you can package together the hires. If you remove first, if would be difficult to package the whole process as the new installation may not be for 3.5 years and rates surely will have changed by then. Not saying this is nice but it's business and as I said, Arkham isn't in the front of the park, it's hidden off to the side behind superman and Scooby buildings.
  12. removal of Arkham will require cranes so may as well wait until the new ride is ready for construction. Not exactly awesome but luckily Arkham is tucked away behind some buildings and not literally front and center of the park.
  13. Fully expect 12th, 19th, 23rd, 24th to open up on later dates too, as they start to sell out.
  14. Lets just assume its closed and announce when its open.
  15. When I say recently, the paint isn't faded, peeling or dusty. Recently could have been 2 years ago but from what I was looking at, they looked fresh. And ontop of one of the stone pillars in the station is what appears to be a new bottle of mount franklin water, with their new bottle design/label (not sure how long ago it was introduced though). Would be tricky for a member of the GP to put that there, so people for sure have been in and around there and I doubt a cleaner would leave rubbish like that.
  16. They recently re-surfaced all the bridges over the Vikings troughs and the station looks like it had a quick once over clean. The roof beams look somewhat recently painted. Otherwise no word on it.
  17. Look, compared to last years I don't think its anywhere near as good, but being realistic and completely honest it was a different style. It was really short (as they run it 3 or 4 times a night) There is a minimal firework and minimal pyrotechnic display. Essentially it was just a musical number (which was good) and a few water jets. The lights also weren't as good as last year. My theory is that they did a smaller/cheaper show scaled back due to covid limitations. If NSW was allowed up it would have been bigger/better. I'm not concerned and think this was just a dip in the quality. 2022 Seaworld will have new rides and I hope the monorail running, bringing a new vibe to it and Spooky Nights 2022 will be their biggest ever. Quick Edit: Captains Dinner was well worth the money. Good was nice, drink was good. A dedicated table and space away from crowds was awesome and super friendly staff
  18. to be financially viable in Australia I assume the ticket cost would need to be an extra $150-200 each
