Giant steel supports generally provide a bit more strength than wooden beams. Hence why this is being massively packed out. It's a lot easier to see where extra bracing has been included when you're talking about a woodie.

Mack have really pushed themselves into a more affordable, premium market. They used to be known for their spinning and wild mouse coasters until they suddenly expanded their focus to hypercoasters, exciting detailed layouts and launches. Now they are almost like that great mix of Intamin and Vekoma.

The cost to carefully dismantle it on the off chance that someone wants to buy a 25 year old coaster that need a complete rebuild of the electronics would far outweigh the cost of hitting it with a plasma cutter and a claw. Unless they already have someone willing to buy it, it'll 100% get scrapped.
