  1. A ride similar to the six flags Justice Leagues would’ve worked so well in the Supervillains Unleashed Area. Have the entrance be where the exit is for the showcase, have the ride take place all in there with a connecting storyline to the area and exit out the wild west side or have 2 exits with one going back into the area and replace justice league with something else (maybe a more intense version of the Movie Park Studios Coater as it’s in the “thrill area” of the park.) But as it stands, it is obvious the park cares more about money and visitor numbers, then the actual guest experience. Just look at the food quality, run down attractions, the roxy theatre movies. This park has so much potential and it’s sad seeing it go to wast.
  2. people are allowed opinions and i had some pretty strong ones when dreamworld was declining too so try again. yeah they’ve made some improvements, but what’s the point of making improvements on certain rides (RR, WWF) while neglecting other rides (JL, Scooby) instead of just maintaining all the rides (wouldn’t even say WWF was much of an improvement since the operations are significantly slower and practically no effects are working). if they can maintain and run every other park smoothly, what’s so different with movie world that they can’t run it smoothly?
  3. if they were in a bad financial situation, they wouldn’t have been able to refurbish both road runner and WWF at the same time, build WNW’s new slide complex, introduce the new animal experiences to paradise country, refurbish Surfrider (even if it still isn’t open yet) or introduce new events such as Hooray for Hollywood. This also doesn't make sense as their other properties aren’t being run nearly as bad as MW. When dreamworld was declining, they copped a lot more and they weren’t cut any slack or had excuses made for them, so why isn’t it the same now they’ve swapped places?
  4. sorry i didn’t specify but yes i meant the ride operators, the rest of the staff were in an overall better mood. The operators were specifically bad at Scooby and JL, with Scooby sending out around 6 empty cars (could have been some sort of issue they possibly had to send out empty cars? who knows though), while the grouper and operator on the other side were just talking about personal subjects , with the JL one just acting miserable
  5. After spending the whole day at the park here are some things i noticed the park does well and what they do bad. good: - wide variety of food options with current outlets and new temporary outlets such as boost juice and donutime (even if they looked very out of place) - good guest interaction from charecters - wild wests boats and road runners trains are an improvement and it was nice seeing something to do with these ride getting some love - Batman exhibit is a cool and interesting experience, however one of the weaker ones out of the showcases. - Green Lantern was getting trains out faster then normal and the chain was completely stopping when there wasn’t a train on the lift, made it a lot more quiet. However, that’s all that really stood out in terms of the good things the park were doing. bad: - the operations were horrendous (excluding green lantern, scooby doo.) Batwing around 3-4mins, Rivals 5-7mins. WWF was ranging from 1-4mins. - very noticeable roughness on Rivals with the backs of the seats being somewhat exposed from the front which didn’t look great (could possibly always be there but this was the first time i noticed.) - 50-60% of the effects not working on JL, Scooby and WWF and barely any to none working in the villains unleashed area - areas such as the Kids area need new audio as it is nearly dead silent besides the noise of the rides and people (also an update is definitely needed.) - food was highly priced for bad quality - a lot of the park was pretty dirty and needed some TLC. - the Scoob 4D experience was not much better then yogi bear, with them just snipping scenes out of the movie, putting them together and creating a story that doesent make a lot of sense at all. - Arkham and it’s old tower facade are a bad eye sore and need to be replaced urgently, especially when 3 of the major rides were closed most of the day (scooby opening around 1.) - staff being miserable and rude, obviously not wanting to be there with some making comments about how sucky the job is to customers. overall it is obvious that the park is in decline, with it now being the third best on the coast (Dreamworld 1st, Sea World 2nd.) will make another visit in the coming weeks to see if there is any improvements. Hope this helps for anyone wanting to plan a trip or not being able to visit and wanting to know more info on what’s going on within the park.
  6. along with superman and doomsday, scooby has also been down all morning. Rivals is also on 1 train ops, with around 5-7 minute dispatches which is making the line a lot longer then it should be for the crowd levels today.
  7. here is the screen recording for those who do not have access to instagram. FullSizeRender.MOV
  8. https://instagram.com/stories/tainan.martins/2806470491945505173?utm_source=ig_story_item_share&utm_medium=copy_link new little update via instagram, the stations aesthetics appear to be getting completed at a steady pace, maybe September 3rd will be the actual opening date for the ride.
  9. Superman has been pushed back again another 4 days.
  10. just over 3 months, however there would’ve been an actual closure date listed and not just a random closure. According to an update provided by ‘OgreMagic’, the ride was down a lot just 13 days ago so i’m guessing there’s an issue they are trying to resolve before the holidays.
  11. the ride is actually being promoted on Instagram (which does seem to cost a fair chunk of money for a wide audience), i wonder if it is real to not simply due to would they waste money for a April Fools joke that’s a day early?
  12. i noticed this which is why i didn’t post a screenshot of the actual maintenance page. Giant Drop and MDMC might possibly be because of the railway but i don’t think Taipan is, im pretty sure it’s just having some technical issues atm
  13. Steel Taipan and Giant Drop are both temporarily closed and apparently both have been since Tuesday (from what i’ve heard at least.) i wonder if there is something going on within that area as they are both relatively close to each other or if both rides are just having some technically issues right now.
  14. i have to agree, Dreamworld is currently the smoothest run and best displayed park out of the three and on the coast.
  15. Superman was meant to open on the 25th, same with Wild West but got pushed back and superman got pushed back again from the 29th - 1st April, so i wouldn’t hold my breathe
  16. Scooby is now slow down for maintenance, however now none of the actual ride names match with the picture, so maybe the app should go down for some maintenance too….
  17. i think the park down the road having half the rides down, the ones opened (scooby and JL) effects not even working and the park being presented horribly is a bigger issue then a fence at the back of a theme park no one is really going to pay attention to but hard core theme park fans.
  18. https://instagram.com/stories/tainan.martins/2803429599869370766?utm_source=ig_story_item_share&utm_medium=copy_link new station update provided via instagram (if it is unavailable, i’ll post it) it appears the building itself is done and it looks like rocks and some blue rock work is going up now, looks like the station might actually be themed.
  19. i wonder if this is the reason for the evening eats nights with no rides open and a seperate fee, this would also explain why it’s only 2 nights to trail to see if it is a good idea or not.
  20. the only one of those that actually would make sense is the 1st one, hoping the last one is just an added in joke…
  21. anyone know if the rides reopened early, or are they just promoting a closed ride again?
  22. There was an issue with the Kaboom waterslide hence why that slide has been closed the longest. However once the part arrived from overseas, the whole area was closed off im guessing so they could install the fixes onto the slide easier and my guess is Double Barrel is still closed due to sharing the same staircase with Kaboom and just makes it easier for them. Once these issues are fixed the slides should be fully operational like the rest of the slides in the park. if only they could fix Surf Rider this fast, taken nearly 3 years for a train to not even be on the track yet
  23. the event was actually a really nice little event which is sad to see go but thankfully, fright nights is still listed. Hopefully this years events better then their last event (2019 i think?), they don’t really have any excuses considering they only have one other event to plan between then and now which is Hooray for Hollywood.
  24. does anyone know if any work inside the park has actually been started? you’d think atleast with the track arriving some work would’ve started
  25. y’all really acting like this ride is presented like Scream at SFMM😭
