If you've ever been on: SDSC, SE, JL, GL, WWF, AA then the answer to your question is yes. All of those rides constantly have timing/effects issues

How can u disagree with people saying TC and then list what in your opinion are better coasters, when you haven't ridden any of them, or TC for that matter? Im taking this topic as being "best Coaster you've ridden" as everyone has different opinions and likes/dislikes. It's really the only way it can be taken its like me saying "I can't understand why anyone thinks The Godfather is the best movie when Goodfellas is better, oh, but I've never watched either".

I'd argue that any decent wooden coaster would be more thrilling than a lot of rides on the coast. I'd hardly see it as a stepping stone unless it was a small woody

Because they could build a new Rapids ride and the chances of a fatal accident is no more likely to occur than what the chances were on any of the thousands of operational days that TRR functioned safely on. Just because they had an accident doesn't make it more likely there will be another one, regardless of the type of ride. Whilst they certainly won't install another water based ride anytime in the near future, there is nothing stopping them rolling out a massive coaster or any sort of extreme thrill ride if they so chose to

The station plans didn't seem as though they would incorporate anything beyond standard 2 abreast seated trains

Blair Witch would be an interesting option, and could make good usage of the outdoor/tree props. Ive always thought a Scream Maze would be an easy do as really it would work in any generic set at all. Texax Chainsaw to me wouldn't have much point of difference to HillBilly Slasher. Alien wouldn't work without animatronics which won't happen.

A back injury on HWSW? I'd say there was something underlying prior to the ride if that is truly the case.. how'd u manage the stairs and ramps to get off the ride?

Don't think anyone would disagree with what you are saying Dreamworld 'needs' but the problem is the massive investment required to do all that currently wouldn't/can't be justified by Ardent

Call me pessimistic all you like, but unless there is a change of ownership, I don't think we'll be seeing any large scale new attraction at DW in the next 3 years. We might get more cosmetic upgrades and entertainment offerings, maybe another flat, but I'm not expecting more than that

MW already had a purpose built sound studio in which to encase the ride... DW has no such benefit. As I stated, DW is already the best park on the coast for people who prefer flats. DW wants to become like Disney? When did they throw out that lofty goal??
