  1. The hole is already completed, your kids are no longer required...
  2. I've been fortunate enough not be have been on too my rides that have stopped/broken down, but the last time at DW with my son we had to evac Big Red Car (such a terrifying experience haha), we were told we could come to the front of the queue when it was up and running again.
  3. Great video. Thanks for sharing
  4. Surely this could have gone into the "2016 for Movieworld" post .. Well as confirmed last year, the 2 hero mazes from 2015 become the 'minor' mazes for 2016 we heard also heard that they were looking at pulling off a MAJOR licensing deal for this years big hero maze, so for me that looks like either Scream or potentially AHS. Looking at other properties releasing this year, you have The Conjuring, Childs Play, The Purge all with new sequels arriving
  5. The topic name is grammatically incorrect.. Maybe try.. "Movieworld in 2016" or "2016 at Movieworld" ?
  6. Yep. I could go on their now and provide an edit to say they are building a Kingda Ka clone with 18 inversions and it would get published
  7. Yeah, again it's a good idea for a single Day event, but it isn't a viable night event idea. You can't have 2 batmans running around the park at the same time, so your roving entertainment is going to be very sparse...
  8. As we know from Fright Nights, masks and face-coverings are a no-go. Makes a superhero themed night somewhat difficult
  9. 4-5 weeks post White Xmas is probably a little early to be having another night event. I also don't see the attraction to multiple Chinese New Year themed night events. I could see them evolving the day time offering during this period, maybe dragon dancing etc in the week of, but what really do you offer, uniquely, at a night event that will attract people to pay $30-$40 a ticket? Chinese food at Rick's? Fire crackers?
  10. Whilst GC winters are rather timid compared to the southern states, i think the climate may play some part in the lack of night events during winter... As for shifting Carnivale to June/July, im not sure attendance would be so great if you needed to line up for 15mins in 10 degree temps for food, nor would the Carnivale dancers in their skimpy costumes be too keen either..
  11. Crazy. The Shoulder restraints definitely would have saved them all...
  12. Holy crap, absolutely shocking
  13. I like sweary joz. sweary joz is cool. f**k yeah.
  14. This deal hit my inbox today... 14 months for $79.. Too bad I've already signed up for the 'membership' monthly package..
  15. POTC looks beyond impressive!
  16. Seems to have got by without it just fine for a LONG time..
  17. They always put horizontal ladders in the channel during maintenance in case the world turns upside down and they need to climb out
  18. A vast majority of attendees are on VIP passes. They don't expect to have to spend a $ once they enter the park unless they want food or merch
  19. Best line of the article.. "But the plans are facing stiff opposition from some locals,"
  20. It wouldn't be printed wrap, that would peel in no time out in the Qld sun. You think that looks like detailed paintwork? Ever been to an art gallery? That's Yr9 visual arts level..
  21. Coming along nicely! For some reason the TOT launch tube reminds me much more of a sewerage drain in that photo than it ever has before...
