  1. There has been concrete in Rio for a long time...
  2. Assuming hard wired, If it did slip off, my guess is it would be bloody painful smacking into your face and head if you couldn't get it back on quickly enough whilst moving
  3. Hi new here, I'm Brad. welcome. Ps the Rabbitohs suck more than the Motorcoaster
  4. Ahh true. Hadn't really paid to much attention to it being factored into the re-theme of Kevil. They could, now I know this is probably stupid, have factored that in when ordering/creating the new hoarding, and have something already prepared for when the demountable goes
  5. The demountable is only whilst the white Cubs are in quarantine. Not sure how long that is, but assume they'll move into the new Kindy area once that period of complete and then goodbye demountable?
  6. Given we'll never seen the TOT reach past the R in Tower ever again (we're lucky when it even gets that high). Let's just remove the track above that max point so we don't keep being reminded of what we can't have...
  7. That looks better.. What Kevil Hill? Photo cred to TPSN
  8. It's all in your mind, the rides all have the same level of redundancies, just compromising different components. my partner is the same, can't stand Buzzsaw as she feels like she's going to slip out, I love it for that very reason. Impending doom is the in thing...
  9. Yeah cause "Dreamworld F**k Yeah!" would look so much cooler.. Whilst not as 'dark' as the original turtles, I find the show fairly consistent with the new Nickelodeon interpretation tbh..
  10. Underground rollercoaster! Or as I prefer to call it, an 'organically dark ride'
  11. I don't think their aim is to win a Tony, nor is their target market interested in meaty dialogue and strong character development.
  12. Ahh yeah... Super cool... Ain't gonna happen though...
  13. Super deep. Definitely an underground suspended triple hammer. Can a ride be suspended underground? It can now! Maybe it's themed to the batcave.
  14. Completely agree Skeet it may look like an eyesore and out of place on the plans, it won't in 5 years when the are becomes heavily developed.
  15. The second photo appears to have combined 2 seperate pictures. The left picture being the current small area where the Cubs are usually shown to the public, and photo on the right being potentially the old Lair second where the single female tiger is kept
  16. *sarcasm* tags needed...
  17. It's not for guests, it's for Killer Croc. didnt you hear, the theming is going to be Amazing!
  18. Dreamworld’s Tiger Island to get $7m revamp RACHEL JUNGE FEBRUARY 28, 2016 11:30 AM DREAMWORLD is giving one of its most popular attractions a multi-million dollar makeover. The Gold Coast theme park has confirmed Tiger Island will undergo a redevelopment, including a new 500-seat stadium and themed shopping and dining outlets. Premier Annastacia Palaszczuk was there to turn the first sod on Sunday morning and said the $7m revamp will create 80 new jobs during construction. drreamworld already has a 1,200 strong workforce during peak times, and is one of the biggest employers on the Gold Coast,” Ms Palaszczuk said. The Coomera attraction draws 1.4 million guests each year, including celebrities from across Australia and the world. The redevelopment will incorporate strategically placed windows to allow guests to safely come face-to-face with a tiger, while bigger splash pools will be created for the stars of the show. Apologises for the editing. Posted from my phone and was difficult to edit out GCB's million hyperlinks
  19. Thanks for the insight on rebar and its uses
  20. The projection onto the air curtain on JL hasn't worked in, I dunno, 6 months + and im none from about 20 in terms of getting onboard audio on GL
  21. If you think what I did was 'shoot down your idea' you are far more precious than I took you for, all I did was offer my opinion and the basis for it Where would you put such a thing given the layout of the loading platforms? Regardless, all you would be doing is further slowing down loading
  22. IMO that's being overly critical. they are used for Carnivale, and for many corporate events and evenings, weddings etc. It would be completely impractical to remove them after each event
  23. You serious? There is over a million lights. It's months worth of work to get those in place and set up given work can only be done out of opening hours. They've been up for 4 years, they are not going to take them down.
