  1. Will not be evil within and wolf creek 2 again, no chance
  2. Well it's confirmation we are definitely getting new trains, paintwork & theming.
  3. doesn't look like anything is moving to me. Think they took Sunday off.
  4. It's obviously going to come back, just as the car on the fountain will..
  5. The dodgem space would be no larger than the area used in the Scooby queue in my opinion. I haven't measured it but I believe they would be very similar in area
  6. MW already announced that the fountain area is a Zombieland themed scare zone. As for the new kiosk, its an interesting layout, with the drink fountains being outward facing/self service. Are we moving to an unlimited drinks scenario with purchase of a cup? Would appear unmanageable if that wasnt the case.
  7. your friend lied. This 'proposal' was near on 20 years ago. DW would also not be telling people at interviews, where they are hiring more staff, that they may be layed off due to disneyland opening.
  8. That's the worst copy and paste editing I've ever seen. Did you even look at it before posting Totta?
  9. Yeah I was skeet, but he deleted his comment so now mine makes no sense!
  10. Did you just ask yourself a question and answer it?
  11. From what I saw on Saturday it appeared to be a separate building, no bigger than say a kiosk, I guess it could be an undercover eating area for Harry's?
  12. My guess would be Scooby or Show stage not being utilised by a maze, but possibly still used as a scare zone or 'panic room' (whatever that turns out to be)
  13. Same question I have. why be disappointed by an extra maze, and then what leads you to believe there is 5? I'm sure I read the fast pass gives entry to the 4 mazes..
  14. Movie world is missing 3-4 decent flat rides to make it a full day park. Adding one ride won't do that
  15. One summer of WnWS doesn't prove long term success in Sydney. I think it will need to be evaluated at 5 years to judge it's sustainability & growth. any major theme park is going to at least be a 3-5 years in development & construction, and there is none of note on the agenda (overlooking the 'new' wonderland proposal which is, imo, no more than one mans pipedream coupled with a political agenda).
  16. It's the competition on the gold Coast that if anything, would see one built there as either VRTP or Ardent make a major play for dominance. It's still not likely in the short term. as for sydney or melbourne. I can't see either of those States having a non water based theme park, let alone a B&M in the next decade
  17. So we're getting new rides in the future. Awesome. typical ASX release, not giving away anything that anyone didn't already know.
  18. The words you chose to use, as opposed to, say "are you aware that at Universal..." Made you sound like you were being either a straight up smart ass, or big noting yourself. Saying 'you obviously haven't...' is a critical assumption, which in this forum when talking to long term members is stupid, hence my comment.
  19. Really don't think you need to emplore theme park enthusiasts to not abuse park employees. A lot of people here are ex-employees, and all of us have great affinity for what the parks offer. We may be critical of management decisions and isolated events, but I really can't see anyone here abusing a scare actor for scaring them...
  20. You clearly have never heard of reading previous pages of the topic...
  21. 90% of universals clientele are not paying $90 for unlimited access a year... their monthly visitation would also be close to Movieworld's annual attendance. stupid comparison
  22. Do you travel by car? airplane? do you eat sushi? swim at the beach? far more likely to die doing those things than in a theme park. Just because people have died in american parks doesn't mean those same rides, or those by the same manufacturer, will also lead to deaths.
  23. It's clearly stated that those are the 'first' of the dates, and even says that more will be announced. How did you come to the conclusion that's all there will be? the car on the fountain was just for the commercial shoot. It's back in fountain mode now. Will change back for fright nights. An overturned car sitting on the fountain unnecessarily for 5 weeks would take away from the park entry. Good decision
  24. They'll be aiming for the school holidays no doubt (final week of Sept). Lot of work left though. Hoping for good weather
  25. When you are talking about large, fast moving machines, generally at heights, an serious accident can easily lead to a death. Disneyland has had numerous deaths, does than mean you'd rather attend Dreamworld if given a choice?
