Why whinge at all? if the parks increase their prices, people whinge. If they keep passes cheap but a high markup on food and bev, people whinge. park doesn't put in $10m attraction each year due to people whinging about pass, food or bev prices, people whinge

I'll always pick something up in park when I visit. I see it as my way of contributing something towards what will hopefully be re-invested revenue. Even if its an ice-cream or character photo for my son

The house is gutted and refurnished after each season. The shell and compound will just sit there until needed again

Last season was really poor, I just think they had the wrong mix of boring people. 2013 was entertaining imo. itll be back one day, probably after a few year hiatus like last time. DW is realistically not going to develop that parcel of land anytime soon

No doubt, it's a very long way from a final tick of approval. They have committed to a 2 year community engagement/consultation, then council has to agree on the plans which if GC council is consistent will take at least 12 months to'ing & throwing. It also has to survive a local and state election in that time that could again change things.

Don't disagree with your on the legal aspect Alex, but I think Luna Park would like some semblance of a positive, or at least a cordeal, relationship with the residents surrounding the park.

Well it is happening, as council approved it yesterday. and who says a casino has to be trashy? It's being built as a resort so will no doubt be designed to enhance and complement the surrounds. Jobs and revenue for the GC is a good thing. its also a minimum 3-4 years before construction begins

Given the only change to the ride line up in the past 12 month is the unfortunate closure of GL, and there is nothing in the our pipeline for the next 6 months, I think anybody could have come to the rational conclusion that we'd be seeing a new ride in 2016.

Wiggle World was not an attraction, it was a themed world consisting of multiple attractions. The major revamp of an existing attraction will likely be the re-theme of Cyclone. The other new attraction will likely be the Brock/Motor Sports museum
