have you ever been to DW in the middle of the xmas holidays? The Carpark can and does get full. A further expansion bringing increased peak visitation would likely require further car parks. wonderland's closure had absolutely nothing to do with a lack of land to expand upon. There's plenty of sources of info on Wonderlands closure so I won't post the reasonings here, just google it, but they had plenty of land available.

You couldn't just retrofit the blue lagoon 'mountain' to house a dark ride. Those sorts of structures are purpose built. You're also talking about a $20m + investment which DW has shown is well outside their capex budgets currently

The auditorium is also not enclosed. It's basically a big undercover area/stage with fixed seating. certainly not a viable option for a ride, and the actual big brother house is surprisingly small when you see it first hand (everything looks bigger on tv!). you can write off any of those areas being untilised

Have you ever been to the Big Brother house? it isn't a sound stage or a studio. It is literally a house with walls around it.

I'm assuming you had one bite, spat it out when you realised it was cold, and got a fresh replacement or refund. if you chose to eat it you have no-one to blame but yourself

Vast majority of people don't feel that way though. At $140 a pass under the new pricing, a family of four would struggle to have $560 in one go to fork out, I know I wouldnt.

Not a terrible idea Zanstabar but certainly extremely unlikely. I'd be happy if they installed a smoke machine in there so you couldn't see the track ahead prior to the launch

But if the initial pressure pre-launch was enough to disintegrate or fret part of the cord, the pressure from the next 'sling' at the upper most point could effectively snap it.

They could just do it the same way they did the Walking Dead mazes and incorporate scenes/themes that lend themselves to the entire series rather than a set season

I thought the DW version was broken, but it's not. It doesn't drop, it shudders. Up and down, up and down. It actually looks uncomfortable.

The key is to be there before and in position when the rope drops. that was your in maze 1 within 5-10mins, and will generally have both studio mazes down within an 45-60mins. eat beforehand so you're not wasting time in food queues (or buy from a cart in the studio maze lines)

Just don't understand a 3.5 hour wait. That's almost the entire length of the night. I've never not got all 4 mazes and at least one ride done in that amount of time.

Why would being in a larger group affect queues?? the only difference would be a potential one group wait if your entire group didn't fit at the end of the preceding group. if you don't like queues, I'd give it a miss or aim for one of the first evenings

In other news, filming on POTC has now wrapped. with 3 months to FN's, I'm sure we'll se utilisation of the studio/s.

Yeah I was in the park yesterday afternoon and went into the 'bank' to get my unlimited pass at about 3:30 and it closed (maybe a sign you can read from the door and not just a piece of paper on the bench maybe a good idea...) also picked up my free Paradise Country annual pass - which to my surprise has Green Lantern as the backing? Can they not organise a stock image of, I dunno, a sheep? It also amazed me that the new vip magic passes have the same GL backing - lets keep promoting the ride that's been closed for months (not complaining about the closure, just the stupidity in the art/marketing department
