I think you could make an assumption that with people asked to arrive at 6am, they won't have started filming at 6:20, so by the time they do the sun will be out. Plus in filming different takes and the editing process you would want consistency in the background environment and lighting in each take. Not sure it there was a point to your post short of wanting to be argumentative

Was very strange that the filming opportunity was posted on the sea world page and not movie worlds. 6am start, weird time to film the Carnivale commercial given it will be bright with sunshine for a night event. Are you assuming its a Carnivale commercial or have they told you that? It didn't say it in the post. Also I don't think they keep an entire area of the park closed to save money on ride attendants...

I 'think' you'll find that if it exceeds a certain height, or is in a park boundary where noise issues may be concern, there will be an approval on the GC PDonlinr website. I don't know that's the reasoning but only reason I can think why Buzzsaw was listed but not Shockwave, green lantern but not justice league.

Exiting from inside the turbine room has been in place for well over 12 months. I generally take the stairs down anyway as it's about 10x faster

Well that settles that. The so called 'big 9 thrill ride' will be the reef diver replacement. Another spin and spew on the way. 4 months lead time not much either...

The cinema could be a major attraction if they converted it into a 4D cinema and put decent movies on, unlikely to be the case though. The rapids would be a great option to update with new features, a fluent theme and it would also help if u actually get wet, which rarely occurs

Does anyone think that the makeover of 2 major attractions as opposed to 'rides' may point towards something other than a ride being the additional to Wipeout? DW Theatre perhaps. I know rides are also attractions and it could very well be another ride getting a facelift. I hope it is cyclone or MDMC. Not sure what you could do to GD to re-furb it other than the queue house. Surely there is no way they can fit a major thrill ride into the Reefdiver footprint. Not a decent one anyway. Fingers crossed for a mine ride replacement. Excited to finally see something new in WWW as well

By branding I mean that I think Carnivale is a poor choice of name, given the connotations that come with it in reference of the Brazilian carnival. I think many people/families may feel due to the name that the content may not be family friendly enough and hence decrease potential visitation. I personally would not take a young child or even a young teenager to carnival. Yes this is different, but word associations are important. I think Fiesta (if they wanted to keep the 'South American flavour in the name) would be a more appropriate name.

I believe it could be an amazing thing too, I just think it could be branded better that is all... The concept I think is great

The great gremlins adventure closed well over a decade ago, time to move on. Oh, and SDSC is a dark ride too, plus JL = 2, not 1.

Maybe we got different impressions from the FoF survey. The differences I see to the actual carnival, in both reality and the media driven 'ideal', were more so around details rather than the overall theme. Again, hard to go into detail due to not being able to talk specifics. Either way I think any after-hours event added to the current offering is a welcome addition
