So an update on Evilution. The attraction will run as a scare maze thru the school holidays. Between the 14-17th of October so amendments will be made, and the attraction will re-open as a laser skirmish arena.

Awesome, I'd say your 4 year old would be in the minority. I've been on Scooby probably 50 times and never seen a child that young get on. In fact the average height for 4 year olds is only 96cm.

Most 7yr olds would find Scooby too thrilling, especially if they are not used go coasters, and that's if they meet the height requirement to begin with. The only ride really is Roadrunner rollercoaster for that age bracket.

If u can't tell the person in front of u is the same as the picture on their ID - they are not wearing 'light' makeup

I'd say DW then. You have more kids/family options and still ToT2, Buzzsaw, Claw, GD for your thrills

I don't think it would be a problem, only if you went out and bought the deluxe movie-realistic costumes such as batman etc so could confuse guests. Just remember that depending on your costume if could inhibit your ability to go on certain rides

Dreamworld have posted a video on their website and FB of the most recent Big Brother evictee going through the maze.

Not sure if I see the value in it really. As long as you are at the park early enough you can get in your first maze within 5-10mins. Last year our group had the 3 mazes (didn't bother with psycho 3D again) done in under 2hrs. Certainly wouldn't take more than 3hrs to do the 4, then u do the rides, or vice versa. Also reads like it only works once per maze..

Personally MW due to number of rollercoasters, but for a family day out - DW. Better kids area & shows, diversity in ride offerings + tiger island & wildlife area. If MW can add a couple more family friendly attractions (LLTR replacement etc) and refurb WB kids area it would win hands down

Agree on the footprint, with the arms coming off I can't see it fitting, but surely that would be the first consideration they made when starting the concept

Guess we will agree to disagree, i wouldnt say it would be more thrilling than SE or GL, but i think it would certainly be more thrilling in 'thrill mode' than BWSS which i feel is fairly tame. I guess different people would find different things thrilling, someone with a fear of heights, may find it more thrilling that any rollercoaster... i think it caters for a different category of thrill seeker to what their existing offerings do

No idea what you are on about Richard? How do u know its not thrilling? Fast rise to the top of the tower & rapid spinning towering over everything in the park - not thrilling? I think it would be less thrilling in Surfers surrounded by taller buildings where you are not higher than everything. I think plenty would be drawn by the 'gimmick' of record heights. I don't see it as a gimmick at all.

???? It would be visible from anywhere within a few km's of MW (unless you are behind the mountains near Pacific Pines etc Think its an impressive concept and a crowd draw card. We're talking 30m taller than GD/TOT2 & 23m taller than Texas SkyScreamer. Might not sound a lot, but you can see TOT2 from many vantage points on the coast, and this would stand out even more. World Record breakers draw crowds, simple. I like its placement and disagree that it would take away from Batwing Spaceshot - 2 completely different ride designs and experiences. Agree either the 'scenic' setting would be too much for a lot of people due to the height - but i think it would be awesome. With 3 gondolas I imagine it would get through a lot of riders per hour too.

As with fright nights - called mazes but can't really get lost. A to B, and Arkham was the same

Really depends on the maze and time. Last year we got in the gates at 5:30 (or whatever time they opened) and waiting near the gate before the road to the studios. It was pouring rain and we stood there for about 30mins, but once that gate was opened after the whole 'Thriller' dance we were in The Film Vault within 5mins, then straight over to Walking Dead which was about a 15min wait by then. We then headed straight over to Hillbilly Slasher and that was again about 15-20mins. Didn't bother with Psycho as I'd done it the previous year and was underwhelmed. If superman is running 2 trains you'll get on it but expect to wait an hour, which will rule u out of some of the shows and attractions - obviously we don't know what is planned for this year yet.

Other than the Dreamworks characters what drawcards would there be to a parade? 10. 10-5 off peak and 10-6 peak along with early access passes and Screamworld is fair IMO. Cost vs demand
