Depends what time you leave. I travel from the Pimpama exit to the Helensvale Westfield exit daily. If I leave by say 7:30 it's a cruise 10min run. Leave it another half hour and you're screwed. As long as you're not leaving in AM/PM peaks you can still do Coomera to Surfers in under half an hour

The thing is push, dj isn't saying they could do a better job, just that yours isn't true to the actual experience. Just because someone can't do a better job (or doesn't feel the need to) doesn't mean they can't critique. Hell I spend the whole weekend yelling at the tv telling footy players how shit that play/tackle was, knowing full well I can't do any better. I also don't think you'd effectively fit a completely new coaster within the confines of the current mountain unless you completely gutted it and started again, also taking note that there is damage to current facade as noted a few weeks back from the Cyclone a couple months back. For me if you've gotta gut the moutain and install new track and get new trains, why bother? Demolish the whole precinct minus Buzzsaw and start again

I always personally tug on the belt just to make sure my son is secure, which i did today as always. As for the ride ops, I don't think they really pay any attention to it other than making sure you have it over your lap. They never asked me to pull on the belt or checked themselves

Really good area, love the design. Would have loved some up close photos today but the Tigers were feeling lazy and lying in the middle of the enclosure. Seeing one of the younger tigers stalking a 2m+ python that was in one of the trees on the island was pretty cool to watch though

Was also at DW today, and whilst this is only a very minor issue due to the completely soft nature of the ride, but halfway through Big Red Car, my son's seatbelt released. Now my son is 4 so he told me Straight away and I put it back on him. When I alerted the ride op on return to the station, he completely dismissed me, saying "well you must not have done it up properly to begin with". When I told him I most certainly had, I've taken my son in the ride 100 times and know how it works, he smiled and said "well you mustn't have" and turned his back on me. Again, and I stress my son was in no danger whatsoever, but i would have expected a much more sympathetic, "Thanks, 'll have someone look into it straight away" response Than what I got

Doubt we'll see a new car anytime soon on TOT. I don't see that being an investment priority given they are operating under clearly restrained financial conditions

Deborah Thomas’s stint as the chief customer officer of entertainment group Ardent Leisure has come to an end, almost a month before it began. Surprise! Just over two months ago, Ardent Leisure chairman George Venardos announced that Thomas would step down as the group’s chief executive and be replaced by former Nine executive Simon Kelly. The plan, chairman Venardos revealed in late April, was that Thomas was to move from the CEO role to the newly created role as chief customer officer on July 1. As of late yesterday, that’s no longer the case, as revealed by Margin Call online last night. Thomas — who was close to the group’s former longstanding chairman Neil Balnaves — is now an outgoing Ardent executive. The chief customer officer role has been scuttled entirely. The former Australian Women’s Weekly editor will also step down from the Ardent board, which she joined in late 2013. A retheme or new trains won't fix Motocoaster. New trains may make it more comfortable for those who find it uncomfortable, but what let's motocoaster down is its lack of speed outside the first corner, and its height which diminishes any feeling of speed.

The upside to the backwards facing is the viewpoint. You lose the majority of that in a second row
