Sea World updates 2016
My initial thought was that they've just moved the 'sea' themed floats as photo ops over the summer, but then I noticed the masquerade girl float behind the Tritan one, maybe a summer mini-Carnvale style parade (similar to the old sponge bob one) could be an option, though seems late to have not announced it

Chicks have been riding up and down on Superman's top hat for years, I see it as only fair that guys get to crest Wonder Woman's peaks.

Carnivale will be a SW event from next year... displaying the floats all year round in park saves space in storage..

Dreamworld reopening - the summer season
I honestly believe that it's a given that Dreamworks rides will be operational, and it was only the wording of the initial press release being phonetically deconstructed that ever brought that into question

Disneyland Australia; will it EVER happen?
The only land east of The ranges that could facilitate a Disney sized development would be the farm land at Jacobs Well/Norwell/Woongoolba

Aqua man isn't out until October 2018 so on your logic the only option is Wonder Woman. Dont forget the Justice League movie comes out at the end of next year which will have Flash & Aquaman

I was alluding to your source being the dippin dots guy.. It's the obvious choice

That's what I was trying to get across as well

The dipping dot guy is back? If you told me they delayed the announcement, I'd agree, but are you saying they changed the theme, I'm calling BS. Too far along to do so, and why? The coaster wasn't going to be called The Thunder Coaster or some sort of associated word...

Think that stigma is gone, the general public for the most part are not really aware of the severity of the near miss that occurred, and as such it's just become "one of the hundreds of times it's got stuck".

Flash was in Suicide Squad & Batman v Superman, will be in Justice League next year and has a standalone movie releasing in 2019 (was supposed to be 2018 but has been delayed due to a director change).

Why? There is no reason to re-theme GL. green arrow isn't even a traditional member of the justice league, nor will he take part in the cinematic universe in any form currently planned (through to 2020)

Speculation and media beat ups - Thunder River Rapids incident
I never said the reporting was completely fact based and 100% grounded in truth, just that it was reported, which until the coronial enquiry concludes is all we can go offer. It would be fairly simple (I wouldn't imagine) to recreate the effect of a malfunctioning/underperforming pump, and to replicate a bottomed out/stopped raft. I imagine it also wouldn't be hard to replicate a collision between two rafts. Maybe, speculation only, they wouldn't get the raft to lift & flip as it did on the day...

No it's not... Wonder Woman comes out in June next year Aquaman comes out October 2018

There is ZERO chance of them selling Merch with TRR on it, zero. Making sure they don't make a loss on a few t-shirts means jack compared to brand damage of (more) people waking around with TRR advertised, and would be microscopic compared to the losses they've already felt

I'd happily see the coaster be themed to WW. I dont particularly think it will happen, but I think it would be a great choice, and a unique one at that

Speculation and media beat ups - Thunder River Rapids incident
Here you go... Earlier this month police concluded their investigation as to what caused the Thunder River Rapids Ride to malfunction. However investigators were reported to be unable to recreate the freak conditions that led to the accident. An inquest is likely to be held in the first half of next year. It is a saying, ("they let their kids get away with murder...") but was in poor taste in the situation used

Speculation and media beat ups - Thunder River Rapids incident
There nothing inevitable about what occurred at DW. it was a freak accident that the police & Coroner could not even replicate despite attempting for 3 days... the park has had no problems in the past with its rides being certified, and as has been spoken with at length, TRR was signed off after it's maintained just weeks before. You don't know more than the police, the coroner, third party certifiers, Dreamworld maintenance, Dreamworld management or, by the looks of things, a lot of people here. If you don't want to visit the park for whatever reason, then don't, but don't fancify up some bullshit to justify your reasoning

No, most of the general public DONT think it's a steal. I wish they did, as if prices for annual passes were raised we'd have more investments in park. But, most average families on the GC alternate which annual pass they buy each year, so they are not going to buy a $250-300 annual pass. Not now that the market has been acclimatised to 3 parks for a year for $99. Lots of people do go to the USA, but it's not the same market that makes up the majority of DW/MWs visitors And to further add, there is no proof that their was dodgy operation of anything at DW, so it might pay to keep your mouth shut.

Disneyland Australia; will it EVER happen?
For the investment required to bring DW up to a Disney standard park, so you think they'll be offering $99 annual passes? I think not. Don't forget how much people blew up when the passes went up by $10 and buy 3 get 1 free was removed. The locals here are accustomed to, and now expect, bargain basement theme park pricing, so you won't double attendance by slapping a Disney badge on & upgrading facilities unless you offer comparable DW type pricing. Either way it's a moot point...

The FareGround
Eat Street is ok, and was the only thing of its kind really until Nightquarter & Marquetta opened. Nightquarter is a lot better laid out, weather proof and a much better atmosphere. That's like 40mins away.. not far at all
-
The FareGround
?? Nothing like the Ekka at all... have you been to nightquarter? Quality food, licenced venue, live music.
-
The FareGround
Dude you are seriously starting to shit me.. whats with the 'lol'... if you have some factual basis for believing Fareground, or Nightquarter for that matter, are/will be trashy, then bring it to the table or STFU.. seriously..
