  1. I have to disagree. I eat at Billabong everytime I go. Food is good quality, tasty (get there on opening so it's fresh), and it's well priced. It's over $20 for a burger meal in park. $25 at billabong gets you at least decent food wit some level of nutrition, unlimited drinks (including one to go) and unlimited desserts (which are usually a good variety. Kids are $6 at Billabong, and a kids nugget meal in park is $15, then add $6 for an Icecream. $21 v $6. Never been in there without music on, service is good and providing you are there early, it's not too busy
  2. Do dune buggy races count as motor sport?
  3. Germany, Spain, all part of England. Yeah?
  4. 'Blue cars attraction' 'White cars attraction' 'Get your photo next to a car' attraction ($25 upcharge)
  5. Ok then, I must be wrong. I could swear that same fence was there during Carnivale! Anyways, if a new fence means some action in the area, then I'm glad it's a new fence!
  6. Definitely the latter. I am already a World Pass holder anyway butets just say I'm more excited for ABC Kids World than a car museum...
  7. Nope, not just cars, old cars. Lots of em. And like helmets and trophies and stuff. Super exciting. I'm gonna rush out and buy a world pass now for sure!
  8. How completely underwhelming. I mean sure it has its market, but it isn't likely a revisit attraction
  9. That fencing has been up for months. Good ol' TPSN! The source of amazing news!
  10. well you board & disembark in different rooms, hence the lack of a 'loose items box' on SE
  11. Was going to say just that, GOT fright nights maze, could see it happening. But certainly not as a permanent attraction in-park. Actually, while we're at it - Mad Max themed maze? Plenty of crazy looking guys and theming that could be used
  12. Will kids be allowed in? Given GOT is basically exorbitant violence & sex (which is just fine for certain age groups) but not exactly child/family friendly
  13. The last communication on the $79 renewal offer said people who take up the deal will be the first to be offered the upgrade. Now whether being first means cheaper or not, or whether there is only a limited number of these upgrades, we don't know.
  14. All speculation at this stage.
  15. Don't think Driving School only takes up 1/4 on the LTRR building. I'd say at least half. And from the look of things, when the old entry to LTRR is opened, there is now offices of some sort in there
  16. Yeah but its Disneyland. Winnie the Pooh could stab 10 people and the next day kids would be lining up for a hug.
  17. The cost to MW to remove could range from monumental (as the ride would surely have to be replaced with something) to nothing if found to be a manufacturing fault. If a manufacturing issue, the manufacturer may just say the cost of purchasing new trains and modifying the track/station/emergency access/shipping etc outweighs the value of the coaster itself, and consider it, in car terms, a write off. MW could potentially make a deal with the manufacturer to pay for removal themselves, in return for a new coaster at zero cost, or decreased cost if said coaster price exceeds that of GL. Plenty of options. But with the 2 month mark now passed, you would think something would have been said/heard/leaked regarding an update
  18. I did post back at the start about the Groupon deal. I didn't bother with it, just did the vip renewal today
  19. Well The Simpsons property is well and truly under the lock and key of Universal parks so that won't be happening.. Dr Who? Isn't it more of a cult following type show rather than mainstream?
  20. Definitely agree with Richard that MW would not have the creative nouse nor funds to do justice to the property, wheather relevant or not. Also agree with Alex 90% of people walking into Ricks have no clue who Rick is or that he ever was a movie character. Rick for all they know is the name of the Chef
  21. It's sad, but most of today's youth would have no knowledge or interest in the Wizard of Oz.
  22. Actually says motor sport attractionS Now we wait and see what MW has in reply. You'd think there must be something in the pipeline, possibly being expedited with the GL downtime
  23. The GC bulletin also claims the ride stopped just before one of the loops. I'm sorry but did I miss some loops when I rode The Storm on opening weekend, or did they add those recently!??!
  24. Zombie Evilution is not being re-vamped. It has 2 modes - scare maze & laser tag. Once the upcoming Screamworld is done it will no doubt return to laser tag mode The new V8 attraction really hasn't had any credible info leak about it so no-one really knows if it is just an Update/replacement to redline or a completely new attraction.
  25. Sure the movement is a little off at times (has been a few breakdowns of late), and it does need a little love, but overall it's great for what it aims to do. My son loves it, and as per the above points Alex pointed out - I'm happy to do a couple laps throughout the day
