It's only an hour or so to the city. 15 mins from Penriff... A stone's throw from the raceway. It's right on the Motorway Shift. Access isn't a problem. Really, it's pretty central to the majority of Sydney either by rail or car. Four really big town centres within a bees doodle of Wonderland. The Gold Coast parks aren't exactly within walking distance of the Gold Coast or Brisbane either digger... Don't turn this topic aswell into Wonderland. Steer clear.

I think they'd only be interested in the slides wouldn't they? What I think Jamberoo should do is purchase Snowy's boats and re-build Snowy. I think that would be an ideal setup down there. It would go very well in that place. Thoughts?

I read somewhere that a lot of the kids rides are there for the holidays only. I'm pretty sure it was the paper come to think of it. It's unfortunate they were rushed to get it open for the holidays, but give it a couple more months I predict it will look pretty top notch. Also don't forget the builders walked off the job for a couple of weeks at one stage, throwing plans into chaos.

Schwarz, Its history of failure, I think you're getting at, is irrelavent old son. The park has changed its focus. It is now a lot more focussed on functions than it was last time. As far as I'm concerned the functions were something on the side for the park. Now the roles have reversed. That's just my opinion anyway. I think you'll find I'm right, because I generally am. TIM, The reason the Big Dipper was removed was because of noise. How do you propose they'd get away with putting Demon in? Any ride is transportable if you want it to be. They all come apart don't forget... I expect most of them will go to Asia if they don't become kitchen utensils. You will all have noticed the NTG logos on Space Probe. The thing is, they are only 14 months or thereabouts from memory, into the 4 year contract worth $2.5 million. From what I can remember, Zodiac was removed from Kings Island at the end of the 1989 season. It went in there in 1975, so it's nearly 30 years old. It appeared to be SBNO from 1987. I can't remember if Zodiac was there or not before that. For some reason I thought it was, but obviously not.

I think this is an extremely good idea. Surely, more family oriented activities is good for a theme park. This is definitely not going to harm them as far as I'm concerned. Sure, it may not sound exciting for you or I, but it will appeal to the kids, like Shifty and the like You know as well as I do how much kids love farm animals. Good Move!

I'm seriously unsure whether I'd want to ride that by the way it's been described Going on rides, you're always taking a chance, but generally feel safe. This sounds like it could be tempting fate and will take a bit of convincing to get people on it. Nasty. hehe

You're not OVER exaggerating Shifty, but does that mean you are still exaggerating? I'm thinking 15,000 would almost be beyond capacity. 10,000 means 90 minute waits at a ride like Snowy. I got caught on the M4 that day. Traffic was banked back for at least a couple of kilometres west bound approaching the Wallgrove exit. It was a poo fight! Would have left any Union Day I'd ever had been involved in for dead.
