Dreamworld's new attraction - December 2004
Daniel replied to kennykoala's topic in Theme Park Discussion
That's the perfect example of why grammar and spelling is so important. Need I say more? -
I'm not sure what changes they could be. There's been nothing that I know of. No changes in the Operations Division anyway. There should be. It's time they moved on and gave someone else a crack. That'll be Christmas for the Theme Park and its staff that's for sure. I think it's about time for a shake up around that joint. Actually, we all know that already. A few years have passed, no significant improvements or changes. That usually means time for a changing of the guard doesn't it?

You'll find he was actually terminated.

Sure makes Bush Beast look like slop that's for sure. Now that's a real wooden coaster isn't it?
-
Ever think it could be a looping wooden coaster?

WLS Update 6/1/03.......THE RED TRAIN RETURNS!

Shifty, what are we going to do with you old son? I think you've got more hide than a team of elephants calling somebody ELSE dumb. I'm just saying the police love your type. People like you keep them sane. Some people on this forum sure are 'thick in the head'. How can you say the stuff I write doesn't make sense? Maybe to you you dolt. How come no one else had any problems and Wonderbus clearly understood it. Back to the drawing board for you old son. I'll try being nicer if you'll try being smarter. -
They wouldn't need to re-track it every year, but it needs to be done, just once! I'd say it's never had a complete re-track. They only ever patch up where people have injured themselves. It needs more than serious work I'll tell ya. A bulldozer would work pretty well. Whenever I went on it, it was at the front. I sat at the back once and it was unbelievable. What does it tell you when maintenance won't let their own family ride it?

WLS Update 6/1/03.......THE RED TRAIN RETURNS!
Daniel replied to Jaggie's topic in Theme Park Discussion
Shifty, how's that work? Read it back to yourself and ask if it makes sense? You thought it stopped, but not completely? What the? I'd love to hear your response to the policeman who pulls you over for disobey stop sign. I stopped, not completely, but I stopped. -
Dreamworld's new attraction - December 2004

Huss, answer the man's question.... -
I still have no idea where this cable is you're talking about, but my thoughts would be it's a winch. Tell me where exactly it is and you might get a more detailed answer. If it's on the back curve, it's a winch. Just so 10 people don't have to get up there and push it when it stops like the old days.

WLS Update 6/1/03.......THE RED TRAIN RETURNS!
Daniel replied to Jaggie's topic in Theme Park Discussion
It does just about stop, maybe not quite. I've said it before, when you're operating you can feel the whole track and station 'shunt' when it gets to the trim brakes. It just takes the majority of the momentum off it so it doesn't hit the track at 12,000 km/h. The train nor track can cope with that anymore and people would have died by now. Not just nasty injuries they get from riding it. -
The Wildlife Park anyway... That's where the dosh and numbers come from. Maybe with all the rides they're removing and selling. That'll pick them up a few quick bucks.
-
What's that for? For being the tightest, most budget theme park in the world? Spending the least amount of money on their ride maintenance and new attractions and treating their staff like sh*t? If so, much deserved winner. Good work.
-
You don't need to explain that Shifty, all I said to you was that it does not go 90km/h anymore.
-
90 km/h my left whatsit mate. How long do you think it's been since it did 90km/h? 90 km/h when it first opened and was looked after...
-
Oh mate it's not just having 'no' license. There's still plenty more to come old son. Keep your eyes and ears open for more in the future. I think it's rather amusing myself
-
See I told you guys it would come out soon. Sure enough, the papers got their hands on it. More bad publicity that they really do not need, especially this time of the year. Oh well, bad luck old sons Here is the story that the Daily Telegraph published. Lion cubs a wonder but without licence to thrill CUTE lion cubs Masai and Mara's stay at Wonderland Sydney has been shortlived - just over two weeks to be exact. Despite the Eastern Creek amusement and wildlife park promoting its newest additions, it turns out the park did not have a licence to showcase the star attractions. At the direction of Agriculture NSW, the 13-week-old African cats were removed from their tailor-made nursery, The Cubby House, on Tuesday last week and returned to the private property of their Sydney owner. A spokeswoman for the department, which administers the Exhibited Animals Act, confirmed the park was ordered to remove the cubs in late December - 16 days after their much-hyped arrival - because it did not have the appropriate permit to hold them. However, she said if the park was to apply for the correct licence and meet certain requirements, its request would be considered. However, a Wonderland spokeswoman said the cubs would not be returning. "They were very popular and everyone knows what a great attraction they were, but we only ever advertised that they would be with us for a limited time," she said. Now weighing about 11kg, both cubs should grow rapidly into 200kg adults.

Jest my left whatsit mate Just quietly I'm spot on But we'll more than likely never know now though will we? Ah well.
-
Nah I don't think so. They've got to learn somewhere seeing as though they obviously don't teach it at school anymore. It also does exactly what you've done. It gets people talking and gets mixed reactions. Isn't it more interesting? Nothing wrong with a bit of friendly banter. So POQ! Also, I don't think you'll find the word borish in a dictionary old son. Could you mean BOORISH? I'm sure you would have, you seem pretty intelligent (for a Mazda Man). What about SIMPLY? By the way, talk was Titanic was going there until it got burned out. Awww... Fox Studios did well and claimed a nice old insurance pay out when the place went bung...
-
You're spot on the money old son
-
And then when you're about to get off, 'Goodbye Daniel'! Good stuff that was.
-
You're a freak Flea. Find better crap to get up to with your time.
-
It's not that I don't want to tell, but it's also pretty bad and you'll hear about it from elsewhere.
