I think doomsday is the most likely to go. The runners up could be JL or GL. Other than that I don’t think anything is going anywhere.

Thought the same thing! It’s not noticeable until you put bright fresh red next to it!

Any good parks in Thailand? (Phuket/Khao Lak)

I have heard Black Mountain Water Park is really good. Not the most thrilling slides but the park looks really nice. Or Ramayana water park and Andamanda Phuket have decent water ‘coasters’ those slides that propel you up. Vana nava water jungle is the water park that most people say is the best but I got a feeling it’s on the wrong side! -

Exactly. Businesses make decisions that make sense for the current situation. Sometimes changes have to happen when the situation changes. It’s not going backwards, it’s just adapting . -
Some things could probably be stored offsite or behind wet’n’wild. Stuff that isn’t used too frequently. The fright night stuff for instance doesn’t need to be in park all year round. But the floats do pose a problem. As they are used almost every day. I feel like they could come up with some creative idea though to make more room.

Yeah cool glad I am not the only one who still finds ‘some’ rides a bit unnerving, that is true actually. Once you do the ride you were scared for, you always get off and realise it wasn’t that bad and wanna do it again. I have finally done DCR backwards. It was incredible. One of the Best experiences I have ever had. Those twists and the non-inverting loop are far better backwards. No actually, everything is far better backwards. Although I do slightly prefer the drop forwards. It feels longer because you can see the ground. The chain lift is also a weird sensation backwards. Overall I am glad I did it. I definitely needed lots of convincing but it was worth it. Though the price needs to be less. It doesn’t cost them anymore having a backwards row. It’s not like a spinning seat that needs extra maintenance. If it was $10-15 I would do it way more.

It’s a bit embarrassing to admit but I have never had the guts to do DC Rivals backwards. I still find forward a little nervy but I do love it ! But now I am hoping to get the guts up to finally concur my fear and go backwards. Just wanted to know how other people have psyched themselves up for it or any other terrifying ride experience. Do many of you even find any rides at all scary anymore? And also how is DCR backwards? Like is the drop much different to forwards? Is it scarier or not really. Thats the only thing is the drop backwards. Is there anyway to make it less scary haha.

Looks pretty slick if that’s going to be what they go for. I imagine the color scheme will also include red like the logo. Maybe the top hat will be light grey track and the spike red track. -

I think there will definitely be at least 2 paths into the area. It would be odd to have a bunch of attractions down a dead end path. Plus it would be another reason to go further into the park and not get so congested in the front area. Which is happening a bit right now with log ride and dooms day having all sorts of trouble and scooby being closed. -
That’s pretty interesting! I like the Tiered concept. Interested how it would work. It says “reduce you wait 50% on the regular queue wait” does that mean you still line up in the same queue or do they just let you on after half the suspected queue time is up? I wonder how they monitor and manage it. It sounds like it almost works how virtual queue is supposed to work but half the call back time? (Hopefully this would actually work. VQ hasn’t worked for me yet even when I go to the park help center). Very interesting. I am excited to see where it goes.

This is what I was trying to say . I just can’t get what I am thinking to paper sometimes. -
Would be nice to at least have (X) xp = free backwards and stuff. I like the concept. Probably not executed great but still a good concept. Still so irritating they keep calling Levi the “worlds most iconic wooden coaster” why not southern hemisphere’s tallest or fastest wooden roller coaster?

Only variable stronger than popularity is money. As long as Village don’t go broke like DW was when they had to pretty much choose between shutting tot, or shutting DW, I can’t see superman going away, completely for a long long time. Superman is also not a prototype. TOT being 1 of 2 in the world didn’t help. There is still many hydraulic launch’s around. I wouldn’t be surprised if superman ends up being one of the last coasters with that launch. Counting on village not going broke. One question though what was the train diagram for? Why did @dean post it. And what’s “food for thought” mean in this context. -
Yes but it would be very annoying and a major rip off if they discontinued a payed extra before it really gave any benefit’s. Imagine paying $25 only to learn you got completely ripped off and you got nothing. Then everyone would be complaining about that. It’s good they have stuck with it so far. Only other option would be refund everyone or offer a free backwards ride or something if it was to be discontinued.

Movieworld does need a people eating dark ride now. Not sure what the theme could be. It would have to be something timeless. Looney tunes perhaps but I guess they did used to have that. Maybe a WoO dark ride if it was in that area.
-
That is odd they made you walk outside DW to get the the toilets.. I wonder what the thinking was behind that. It really doesn’t make sense how Sea worlds new rides are so unreliable. They are all fun but I don’t think I have seen them all open at once yet. how was Superman escape? Did it break down at all?

Not sure if it’s been said already but the station platforms have been installed on flash. No paths going up to them yet but there is a small steel fence around the platform’s so nobody could fall off. Exactly what surf rider had. The weird thing is the platforms are still blue

I think it will be a similar style to the looney tunes gas station in the same area. Kinda retro cartoony façade.

Could see a massive concrete slab down in WoO from DCR. With the start of paths and everything. Looked really good.
