it’s insane my visit the other day had around 3 min dispatches for FOTWW towards the end of the day, i really though dispatches had approved but it must’ve been so they could go home. it’s sad seeing them dig themselves into a bigger hole while Dreamworld is on the verge of being completely out of the hole old management dug. I really hope Movie World can have a turn around period after this and improve everything to be back to their old standards, let’s cancel that corporate hotel and spend that money on the park.

what seems to be the new schedule is Superman (this year closes early in Jan), Batwing, Driving School and Sylvester’s Feb - April. Dc Rivals, Wild West, Flash, Marvin and Road Runner April - June you can’t see Green Lantern, Justice League, Speedy’s, Yosemite Sam’s, Splash Zones, Carousel or Wizard of Oz’s maintenance dates on the new maintenance page yet as it only shows 90 days in advanced (which imo is a flaw.) my guess is Green Lantern, Kansas Twister, Wicked Witch, Splash Zone and Carousel will be done July - October and Justice League, Scooby (when it’s back online), Yosemite Sam’s and Speedy’s November - early December.

what a weird thing to say. the video is public due to it being evidence to the case, which this topic is about. he did say what the video was and issue a warning so i don’t think there’s anything wrong with sharing public information of a mistake some woman made. however, a video of a young girl being assaulted isn’t the same as that’s not a choice, that’s an inhumane act of violence against someone.

there was a crane up this afternoon when driving past, but i couldn’t tell if it was for Superman or Wizard of Oz (i’d guess Superman as Flash is now listed as unscheduled maintenance.)

yeah i’m not really sure, Jungle Rush’s gates open pretty much as the trains restraints unlock, and then the they’re checking before everyone’s even seated. i don’t get why they can’t do the same.

i will say operations did seem to approve a but for FOTWW this afternoon (4:15pm onwards) with dispatches being around 3mins apart… if that was the average all day it’s gone from about 160 pph to around 400 pph. i wish the turn out of the station and start of the lift hill were enclosed with screens to block the view of the studio, maybe you could have flying monkeys taking off with you… its sad cause some parts of the area are so well done or you can see the potential but it just wasn’t unlocked. Row 10 FOTWW is a great ride though.

i will say i don’t think the big piece on top of the rides entrance actually looks as bad in person as it does in photos, i believe the work being covered up is the instillation of the water falls.

the arm and motor are sitting in the car park still completely together, i think it’s safe to say the ride has been sold. imagine it’s actually for down the road…

oh, i would’ve much preferred the original Diamond that was in concept arts… that looks, interesting.

maybe they’re moving Batwing to replace doomsday and putting S&S’s new rotating gondola’s on it (i’d say i’m joking but honestly who knows with how things are running there now.) honestly, i’d rather them knock down the show building then try and put a new show in there, i really don’t think management as they are currently would utilise the space well. an expansion of the west area with two flats and maybe a family thrill coaster (leaning more towards thrill like Leviathan) would be great, something like a Mack spinner, GCI woodie or Intamin launch coaster. they just need to leave enough space for the fright night sheds (or relocate them elsewhere) and they’re good.

everytime i’ve drove by or visited the park lately the car park has been completely full, it seems like they’re actually doing really well now and it’s good to see. i wouldn’t be shocked if those old numbers are pulled again very soon.

there actually is themed garbage bins in The New Atlantis that are around from when Vortex opened.

especially when they’ve only operated for a month? maybe it could be how they need to do an inspection shortly after opening to the trains to make sure everything’s working as intended (like jungle rush operating one train for two days then returning back to two trains.) hopefully we see both sides being used soon.

apparently Kansas Twister has already started to only operate one side, ngl that was quicker than i expected.

water effects, a 3rd giant crystal and even more theming has been added into the dark ride sections of Jungle Rush. i find it crazy that they’re still adding more and more theming to it since opening, not just to the ride but the entire area, yet still keeping the attractions open. a video of this can be found on coasterliife instagram

the ride itself could fit, but you’d have no room for the queue, pathways, theming, nothing. just the hardware itself.

i honestly thought a screamin swing with a very well themed queue line would’ve been added to the New Atlantis eventually where the maintenance shed ended up being built, unfortunately there’s not enough room where Vortex sits to add one.

i think a Sky Jump could be a good replacement, it doesn’t need to hit 300ft, maybe 250ft. i’m not sure what else could fit in its spot?

damn they really are moving quick, when does everyone else think the ride will come down? i say it’ll be down by mid feb at the latest.

Croc, Scarecrow, Ivy, Bizarro + Joker and Harley are all still there. they’ve also removed that van that looked like a food outlet but was never open.

Doomsday’s surrounding area reopened today, with no walls blocking the giant hole in the ground (foundations and wiring still intact), with all Doomsday signage (including the big billboard) removed, the rides safety information board removed, and a sign out the front saying “attraction unavailable.” most of the statues are gone within the area as well, a bit random to reopen imo.

imagine it’s actually just a giant return for the ride… let’s pray it’s not. i won’t be shocked if they reuse the area and update (remove the screens) the theming, but if they do bulldoze the area and start fresh, i hope they can send some of this theming over to DC Rivals… they could really reuse it to beef up the rides theming in the queue.

the other day both trains had to get evac’d from the top of each lift hill, which it was listed as under maintenance after that but i think reopened in the afternoon the next day. i’ve also heard it overshot the station with the first two rows being too far off the breaks, so maybe they’re having issues with the station equipment.
