  1. No not at all, I just reckon Dreamworld really need to pick up their act.
  2. yeah, make sure to buy a large cup of coke from Maccas so you can receive their "adults at kids prices" deal. It saves you just under $20 and you get a big coke to refresh yourself after negotiating prices with the staff. You good with Sundays Joz?
  3. We could do a Sunday perhaps so Rabid can drop by?!

I'm guessing its only the demo? What type of loop also? Vertical are the easiest. Give me a day and i'll do some screenshots. My computer has had sooo many complications because nothing works on the bugger. That's what happens though when you run XP.
  5. You know one article brings to mind on what might just happen to Dreamworld.... some day. Head over to www.rollercoasterpro.com , and head to special features, then into the Gueaga Lake section, and read that article, where the park goes from Six Flags to cedar "fab" point.
  6. That's because its an 180 megabyte file. The controls for the camera personally i thought were quite good, but if you hated them in rct3, don't bother trying the sims 2. But supports were tacky and graphics overall were aimed at an audience of people who had 2001's hardware, not now.
  7. Seriously, my entire school knows I'm a Dreamworld nutter, and thats over 1700 people, and that like Joz, people just feel compelled to tell me about their long waits at Dreamworld. Do us a favour please Dreamworld, I don't like long and boring anecdotes.
  8. Okay, sounds like a good idea. Seroiusly though, Dreamworld needs to really do something about their management of rides. Some of the GP are starting to notice, and when that starts happening there's gotta be a resolution before profit starts going down because hey, does anyone here like to stand in a three-storey spiraling queue-line with no entertainment apart from some tiny lcd screens? I think not.
  9. Jee, I know, everyone take note, relax marrn. (attempts jamaican voice but with no prevail.)
  10. I really don't seem to care. This happend during the last summer holidays, and we didn't see any real return from that, no particular themeing renovations apart from the Gold Rush County entrance. Woohoo. Now look at GD, Cyclone, Wipeout and TOT and maybe Dreamworld should spend this revenue on re-theming. Proper re-themeing too, no fake cover-ups, we, the people who know, deserve something to keep us from going insane while waiting to get on your poor capacity rides. Sorry, but when a park takes into consideration that the customer isn't THAT important, and that this type of crapy themeing will do, AND THEY GET PROFIT FROM IT, really makes me sick.
  11. Yeah, but hey, I got a free T-shirt because mine was destroyed and I got to go backstage with the hosts. Pretty cool indeed.
  12. Meh, it's not that bad. When you have the chance, head down to Universal Studios in Florida, and head to their slime time, they had a whole machine dump a full load of slime onto my head, body etc., while I was standing too, which meant maximum impact.
  13. Like I said before, even Saturday sucked butt. Moving around the park is fine, but queues for Giant Drop, WipeOut and Cyclone just keep getting worse each weekend. And that's in comparison that earlier this year I could do 30 or so rides on the Giant Drop up until lunch, whereas now the queue goes right back into that bay (big brown thing) and fills that right up too. Not happy at all. Tower Of Terror had died down though only because we had some of the greatest "stealth" ride-ops running the tower and plus all queue times have been divided to the ocean parade area. Wipeout now has the same queue line time as during the holidays, and this is definite, because when you go as many times as I do, you get a sense of which parts of the queue mark the differences of whether or not you go on this ride or the ride after. Cyclone is just pointless to complain about, it has poor waiting times all the time, even when the GD queue line is empty the Cyclone's wait remains to be more than half an hour when the park is empty. Now the claw is just laughable, there were at least five breakdowns during last Saturday, two of which i was on, which required us to be locked in for another five minutes or so after the ride ended. Wasn't exactly that fun for having to wait extra, but I must say that even when the queue line is full for the claw, it can chew up the time you wait very well. Some great effiecency thanks to the designers of the ride layout and design. But that's enough rambling on at this site, make sure you sign your name up for a day out with the members from this board at Dreamworld to ride the claw!
  14. Come on! How about other Brissy people? Rabid and joz? Richo? Come on, where is everyone?
  15. Yes. A carnival type mondial gyro swing called ultra max (?) can be found at mondial.com
  16. There are several different types of launches roller-coasters can have. Some are like the lsm (linear synchronous magnets) on the tot, or some are like the hydraulic propolsion methods used on coasters like dragster (go to www.coasterimage.com to get some great footage) and some use a very average air compression system, seen mainly in S&S's power thrust models found at www.arrowdynamics.com (hehe....).
  17. We could still do it at the end of the month, depending on how everyone else feels.....
  18. I'd like a launch coaster, particularly an inverted one at that. Once when my computer starts to operate again, I'll do up an idea I've had for some kind of launch coaster on the thunderbolt site in no-limits.
  19. Dudes and dudettes for that matter, (turns into queen-like voice) I have taken into consideration that because of the claw's opening we should host a rider get-together within the coming saturdays. Anyone interested in turning up to Dreamworld for a fun day spine-tingling, knee-knocking (returns to normal voice) ooohh you know what I mean. Cameras are a must. Bring yourself also and make sure to post back right-away so we know who's coming.
  20. Maybe we should put Reptar in as well and see how many votes it gets?
  21. Nah bussy, they got the helicopter to fly really low, and the photographer opened up the door, and took some snapshots. I'd keep going on, but I'm still feeling the aftershock of going on the claw too many times in one day.
  22. That honestly looks computer enhanced, just take a look at the people around the claw and their shadows etc. And no, there would have been no way they got that photo unless they used one of the Skyreach booms because the cameras fitted currently for the claw queue are only on the buildings sorrounding (only about 5 metres high).
  23. I personally think that Dreamworld needs something to put them on the international market again. Like what TOT and GD did. Let's say, hydraulicly launched B&M flying coaster? Think about it, all the core elements, except with a launch!

Gee, only just read this one. Thanks alot Liam for beating me! As for CS, well, not a big fan now, I think that it is such a used game and the graphics really are of older heritage....... Me? I play doom 3 and FarCry, not to mention my list of games (anything recent). And yes, I do work at an internet cafe called Games Quadrant at alderly, Brisbane.
  25. I already saw it on Rove with that girl. Well.... footage of that whole thing will be up soon.
