  1. @GoGoBoy Thanks so much. I actually have pictures of the shed today. I suspect the pond was ruined as the diesel fueled train crashed into the pond. I would however love to see pics of these plants you are referring to. https://www.dailytelegraph.com.au/news/nsw/coffs-harbour/banana-express-hits-rock-bottom/news-story/10b6ba311b37f29c572803be00bb67b7?fbclid=IwAR2UblWT2Dpj7RlO41cSxa6EUIgypT5GtyZw4mr4y561sC3thD_sN7uWcZ0_aem_AUx2euNlLFZj4brAI2wbPyMevCt8OefJ5EJUJEmCFLBva8ciqdhd3-aS7PW4nyeLsEM7RSOx5SQkSnF6JA7NHUZy @themagician I've contacted them several times. The park communications team once sent me phone number to call and a time with short notice, alas, I'm a yank and was asleep when i got the message. Further efforts to get info from them went unanswered. The new CEO was kind to respond to me, but sent me back to the same place that's ignored all my inquires. I sent about a dozen letters today to an assortment of new agencies in Australia. Thanks again for your help!
  2. Hello, I'm sorry to come at you with this random question. I'm a cartoonist who's been working on a story about the animatronic bunyip that was in the pond at the Big Banana park on Coffs Harbor in the 80's-90's I'm finishing up the story and I 'm wondering if anyone here knows more about who worked on monorail, and especially who might know more about the animatronic Bunyip. I've been interviewing a commercial diver who used to repair the creature near the monorail in the pond. I'm a professional cartoonist and I'm chasing down leads for what I hope is an interesting story. I have extended family in Canberra, but they obviously can't help as i'm (sadly) an American. Sorry to bother you if this isn't appropriate. I simply have to search everywhere for information. https://www.patreon.com/posts/exclusive-for-116763375 www.patreon.com I hope you all have a wonderful 2026 and thanks again.
