  1. No they don't at all. Was at Rainbows End yesterday, and Corkscrew Coaster was running smoother than many older B&Ms, and this was in the 2nd car from the back. If it aint broke.....
  2. The ones at Kentucky kingdom and Aquatica you ride alone. I imagine this will allow singles, like Temple of Huey and Little Rippers.
  3. Wouldn't they publish that on their website and not parkz?
  4. So went to this park the other day and man even the way dreamworld was a couple of years ago was better than this. For starters they have no signage at the front gate about ride closures (closers) got inside and found that twirler Was closed for annual maintenance. Theming on the coasters was pretty average..... Not enough cleaners employed so rubbish and vomit was everywhere. I took this photo of the teacups ride, sorry for uploading it sideways, don't. Know how to rotate photos. The meagic show was a waiste ...only 15 min long. In clossing comments not going to bother coming back for a while.
  5. What colors have they gone with? PS rode another one of these tornado 12 slides (At Kentucky Kingdom) a couple days ago. Opinion hasn't changed since last time, they tend to go too slow so you barely rock around compared to rides like Tantrum. The Whitewater West version (eg Typhoon) is better IMO.
  6. There's a coaster in Japan which has a stand up and sit down train cycling on the one ride.
  7. So the new flat ride is going to be themed around this right ?
  8. Another way of looking at it, tower of terror is like a shuttle loop without the loop http://rcdb.com/798.htm?p=1283
  9. OK here's how I'd define a coaster. -Rolls uphill under its own power at least once (excludes diskos and alpine coasters, but includes mack bobsleds and halfpipes. -Park and manufacturer refer to it as a coaster. If its on RCDB its a coaster. Another way to think of it is the overarching category a ride sits in....Many enthusiasts count "coaster credits" but imagine in an alternate universe people counted "flat ride credits" or "water ride credits" or "dark ride credits" etc. You can only count something once, so if you were counting WWF or splash mountain you'd count it as a water ride primarily, but if you were on storm you'd count it as a coaster.
  10. To be honest I was expecting that...Theme the mountain to be like this: http://www.china-tour.cn/images/China_Pictures/Huangshan_Pictures/Huangshan_10.jpg Ah well, new ride is good too,
  11. Yeah a plane prop is definitely close enough to a turbine for me...Will pay that!
  12. Just a heads up, but I rode Superman Ultimate Flight at SFDK and would definitely support the earlier suggestion that LPS should get one. Despite the ride looking quite short, the fact is has the 2nd loop (Compared to Buzzsaw) means it doesn't feel repetitive because it doesn't repeatedly cover the same section of track over and over. In some ways I guess it felt more suprising...After going through the inline twist I was expecting subconsciously to whiz back through the station, but there is the 2nd non inverting loop. The vertical twists are pretty snappy too.
  13. I'm going to be taking my 56 y.o mum to DCA next Sunday, so I'll let you know how we go.
  14. The Zacspins have reportedly reopened after it was found Terra Mitica had modified the restraints.
  15. I don't think there is a set age per se. And its irrelevant really, every kid is different. At the end of the day WnW only has 4 "small" slides so what this is doing is adding some much needed extra entertainment for the youngest set.
  16. These are aimed at kids much younger than that.
  17. Never heard of this website. "Parkz" eh? Are they any good?
  18. I've seen Mini Tornados but who makes mini Kamikaze slides?
  19. So. Who is planning on going up to #grabthecred?
  20. If its a sky fly I reckon theming it to a school of manta rays would be pretty cool.
  21. Yeah that's About the only reasonable situation I can think of. If you had an annual pass and had nothing else on you might.
  22. See, turns out building Scream on a treeless car park was a good idea all along. Yes SFMMs Green Lantern has been shut Joz.
  23. Glad I'm not the only one that saw the face.
  24. Did they have the internet in 1970?
  25. It would be almost criminal not to have a Harry Potter themed area at a Universal park in the UK, for starters.
