Pretty Good, I havent played the GC version yet though. The stylus is cool for playing, but some games are too similar. Im now looking foward to Twisted which is coming out in May.
  3. Hmm, White water West, Proslide, AWL thats 3 so far. As for a coaster, they should get a Wiegand alpine coaster (www.wiegandslide.com), its like a bobsled ride, but with a fixed track instead of a channel so you can safley go faster.
  4. Lol Neb, i gotta make up a list like that to try on carnies who try to get me to play their rigged games. "Im Allergic", now thats a good one.
  5. The ride could work by fully reading the song and calulating the movements before the ride is started, it wouldnt be done on the fly.
  6. I think it would be cool if they made a simulator where the ride track shown on screen and the motion were generated by music in a similar way to the how the patterns are generated in windows media player 9.
  7. Well, the GC may supposedly be warmer, but just because its warmer, it doesnt mean that Sydney is cold. I mean, both places have good climates, its just that the GC is supposedly a bit sunnier.

I recentley got WarioWare Touched and really enjoyed it, and it got me thinking of other mini games for it. Post some of your ideas here. Some of mine: Chewing the fat: rub the stylus up and down to make a jaw chew on a piece of food. Spin Sickness: move the stylus in a circular motion to make a carnival ride spin, and make a vomit gauge fill. Toilet Panic: There is a row of cubicles, tap an empty one when it comes avaliable to make a guy rush in. Stompers: You get a top down view of three conveyor belts with a stomper on each one. items come down and you have to hit the stomper to squash it. Tetris Rotation: Move the stylus in a circular motion to rotate the tetris brick the right way so it cleas a line. Coaster construction: You are presented with a partialy built section of coaster track, draw lines between each segment to finish it. Record Rotator: A record will spin on a turntable in a certain pattern, you then have to copy the pattern it spins in.. Tornado: Blow into the microphone to make a tornado destroy a building. Lucky Lotto: Scratch a lotto ticket quickly to reveal a prize. Drop 'n' sort: coloured balls will drop down the screen onto a see saw with a bucket on each side. move the stylus to tilt the see saw the right way so the items fall in. Anyone got any other ideas?
  9. MattCrombie, why does weather dictate whether a theme park can get built, Anywhere in Australia has weather suitable for a theme park, and there is virtualy nowhere where it is too cold for one. Going by your logic, the UK shouldn't have any theme parks because it snows there and its overcast most of the time.
  10. Ill do some updates when work starts on the Southen Star since thats basically across the road from where we park when I go to the footy on the weekend.
  11. So what are the other two things you mention.
  12. Well Zordy, you got your wish since more land is avaliable, so we can all sleep easy.
  13. Dude, we wouldn't, your basing that on the fact 1 Six Flags park bought one, then sued them because it didnt work, so i dont think its much of a possiblity. SF may have good coasters in some of their parks, but many of their overseas parks arent much better than what we have. Also, you need to remember that SF tends not to be as nice as other park operators, think about it this way, DW has good rides, but fails to deliver on the operational side of things, and SF seems to have similar problems. Cedar fair I'd be happy with since their parks are nice and seem to have only good said about them. But the operators I would most like to see are any of the TV/Film company parks, or a Tussauds park since they have good themeing.
  14. The rafts are kept in the channel, and the ride supports could be made to be innundated, so building part of the ride over the resivior could be a possibility.
  15. A new tower would cost several million, and in any case, why connect it to the existing one when if you built it standalone, all sides could be used? Personally, just make the semicircle ring idea, but make the spokes that the seats are on longer to allow for more capacity.
  16. They dont really need the chairlift anymore because they only had it for when Koala Country could only be reached via Riverwalk, but when the path got joined up from Rocky Hollow to AWE then the ride was less vital. The walk isn't unbearable, and those who dont want to walk can just take the train. This could open the door for more development around Goldrush.
  17. Hmm, they could do a complete refit. I know that one of the paramount parks refitted its gyro drop with a bigger non rotating ring that holds 80 or so people, so it could be possibe for DW to call up ride trade for a refit, but i doubt the would.
  18. Hmm, that could open the door for a few new things, such as a roller coaster making use of the area, or a 3rd GD axis.
  19. Im hoping for a better company than SF since they are going badly at the moment, and they neglect their parks a bit, and anyway, SF has been selling some of its parks, so its probably just trying to downsize. The companies I would like to see are WVTP (they do a nice job), Tussauds (well run parks with nice theming), Universal (excellent quality), Disney (im dreaming) or Cedar Fair (Unlikely), but who knows, we might get hit by another company, or maybe that spyland mob will set up there.
  20. Nah, i was referring to the Dummies book link, but meh. I doubt this thing a lot, they would probably build somewhere better than here.
  21. So Paul, whats that got to do with the price of fish in China? stay on topic.
  22. Isnt the other pub north of Albury (NSW)
  23. An interesting thing to watch out for is the motion simulator that looks like this mythological/atlantis themed thing. At last years show in Melbourne the ride film was a no limits track screen capture with some added objects and colour editing and the sound track had been changed. Im not sure if Ole gave permission for his game to be used that way, but i laughed when i saw that. I dont know if they will show the same film, but given all this, dont ride it, it sucks.
  24. I dont think Gs would be a problem when going sideways if the acceleration was smooth, its no different than being in the sideways seats in a bus.
