It would be so good for re opening if they brought back the old colour scheme. The rest of mainstreet yeah whatever that can be the new colours....but I think there was some definite original design intent that the design of the station and the design of the main entrance building Dreamworld should complement each other. Plus with a fresh new colour scheme it helps sell it as a fully refreshed attraction.

But, its sort of different sets of skills and equipment.

Lol wtf would shockwave be in there for, its flat ride, and even if it was a 'coaster' it would be a powered coaster. Surfrider should be in there because it actually coasts.

Also I just want to say that I'm neither here nor there on enclosed launches. The thing that ruined enclosed launches for me was Do-Dodonpa. Its phenomenal launch in terms of forces, but because its a featureless black tube with a bit of light at the end of the tunnel, you lose a lot of the sense of speed. Needs some lights or at least some points of reference on the wall. On the other hand Top Thrill Dragster and Xcelerator are great because you have a line of people along it, fences, palm trees, grand stands etc and its so cool seeing all those things warp past.

For what its worth I'm not too fussed about the lack of an enclosed turn at the start. So many coasters do it:

I don't think it would have saved money to do the triple launch? Less LSMs but more track, and its expensive tall track with deep foundations..

I don't think things like new boats should be treated as adding value to the pass though.
