  1. Buzzsaw should be fine: http://www.coastersandmore.de/rides/gforce/skywheel_eng.shtml "The last row of each car has a "Big Boy Seat" for people with larger upper body dimensions. The seat has been extended by a few inches to the front and the restraint has an extended, monitored closing range."
  2. I can only assume that they are going to run an afternoon/night event...But even then, closing at 2 is a bit early? 24/12...Christmas Party? 31/12...That NYE Event that is already being promoted. 28/02... Mardi Gras Pool Party? As for the long hours in the lead up to Christmas...Perhaps they are expecting massive demand in that first month of operation?
  3. http://www.proslide.com/anapa-aqua-park/ A park in Russia is putting in a Proslide complex basically exactly as I described...Wave, Tantrum and Bowling Alley. There is a kraken racer on the lower level, so no real point for WWW to put one of them in.
  4. ^There's probably quite a few things you could have in a wrecked port (I reckon a cargo crane fallen over would be pretty eye catching) There seems to be more junk appearing in the ride area with every passing day (Those telgraph poles, and the wooden crates around the entry to the tunnel have only appeared in the past few days), so who knows what else will show up.
  5. ^SG has a couple of water parks now (The one at Sentosa http://www.parkz.com.au/photo/SG/Sentosa/Equarius_Water_Park/0,1,6097-Equarius_Water_Park.html and Wild Wild Wet is expanding too: https://pbs.twimg.com/media/BINtdhvCAAAdCwD.jpg Plus several public pools dotted around the island that literally cost a couple of dollars to swim at, and are mini water parks unto themselves, with lazy rivers, wave pools and the like: http://goo.gl/maps/tWI7K7 Excuse the pun, but the market may be saturated HK has potential, it's just a question of getting around the insane land costs.
  6. Read the darn thread.
  7. A starflyer/windseeker would give some great views, but with the bonus of not really generating any screams. Zumanjaro: Drop of Doom at SFGAdv will only have 3 tracks, all facing the same way.
  8. I'd like to think that maybe in the future the spare space could be used for something (Eg look at what is proposed in the middle of Superman after all these years of it being white gravel)
  9. Both HSD and overdrive are running concurrently, so two shows of each per day.
  10. I highly doubt the park would go to the effort of comissioning a design without first doing a quick check with the ride manufacturer of the required clearance around the proposed ride.

  12. ^If you are a gold pass holder (Uncertain wether silver pass holders get in on it too), they are intending on sending out an email.
  13. I'm sure if it were an immediate problem they would be doing repairs or replacing the treads as necessary. Any sort of precast concrete unit is going to develop unavoidable cracks over time.
  14. Upgrade the stairs to what? An escalator?
  15. Seems dumb for WWW not to follow through. ..Adding waterslides would be cheap, and would go a long way towards making the unlimited world pass more attractive. The money they have spent on non events like Shockwave could have gotten a better ROI if spent on expsnding WWW I reckon. Have a look at what WnWSyd is doing, with those big proslide towers. Year 1 build the tower, conveyer, landing pool and say a Tantrum Alley. Year 2, build a Tornado Wave. Year 3 build a bowling alley. Year 4, build another tower, conveyer, landing pool and whatever else they want to do next. And so on.
  16. Lame....MW and WnW let anybody go, not just passholders.
  17. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=oQl6xDyUd2g Was around in 2011.
  18. I imagine this being no different to MotoMonster Extreme that ran a couple of years back for 6 weeks or so.
  19. Check out the pics of Funnel Web on here. Before the drop are a couple of water outlets that pump extra water into the slide, causing the raft to slow down a bit. A couple of meters later there are slotted drains that get rid of the excess water, and then you go down the drop.
  20. The Lalandia one appears to lack the "water trim brake" a few newer ones have, and Im reasonably certain WnW Sydneys has that segment before the drop, so hopefully that stops rafts going out of control.
  21. Kujotess, please tell me you took the piercing out for the interview?
  22. Some prozac should make you feel better.
