  1. ^Only really Gardaland and Heide Park plus the Legolands though.
  2. Again, an American chain! Anyone ever been to Outback Steakhouse in Syd? What are they like? The Hooters in Mermaid Beach I can't comment on because we didn't have soft drinks.
  3. ^I don't think DW have been that bad in recent times actually (Though I think Shockwave was $2 Mil or so they just didn't need to spend) and I think Dreamworks should do well for them. WWW I think has been allowed to languish a bit though...They were always going to be WnWs little brother right from the start, but geez, at least try.
  4. ^Indeed. Lol, guess it would be a case of: Leave the station, do one turn, then come back to the station because you've taken up the whole building by that point.
  5. Plus the building isn't big enough for a 4D ride anyway.
  6. It's themed to Casablanca, and Ricks was a cafe in the film.
  7. In that case, I think Sizzler is the only sit down restaurant I can think of that has it.
  8. Why do you think people keep going to HJ? Not for the 'quality' burgers, or staff, that's for sure.
  9. Reanimated, I think the point is a lot of this sidetracking which seems to happen isn't actually interesting or funny.... It's "meh" type stuff through and through.
  10. I reckon the cost of moving Ricks would be higher than the value of any attraction which could replace it.... Not that big an area really.
  11. Nah it hasn't, good find! The parks in Japan and Korea are news to me too.
  12. Just on that, are you sure it wouldn't have been Tomb Raider?
  13. Actual lol.
  14. The only car I remember in the area was a silver 90s model american car...That green one looks older.
  15. Two options. -OTSRs, like the original harnesses, or B&M and Intamin inverted coasters. This still has a bulky thing around your head which would cause headbanging. -Lap restraint with soft harness, like the new trains, or like on newer Vekomas like BSG. The ones on BSG still had a tendency to tighten as you ride just the same.
  16. Nothing to add except that the green car in the courtyard is new. Thanks for getting out there and getting these pics anyway...very hardy of you. Re the leg tightening, I guess one way to make it comfortable to to make sure you dont slouch or anything...try and sit yourself back a bit as much as possible, and that avoids the tendency to slip foward during the ride and wedge under the harness. Also, maybe a decent set of legs might resist the harness...squat, squat, squat
  17. I've had to be released from Superman manually too using that battery powered thing. Give the the benefit of the doubt...It's only been open 3 weeks, and I guess there is a tendency for people to keep an eagle eye on what is going on with it compared to other attractions , meaning it might seem as if more is going wrong with it.....Hows GL going
  18. ^You could? Also lozzie, I'll say it now because you are new, but just make sure you use proper grammar, spelling and punctuation when posting on Parkz. Thanks and welcome!
  19. Fanboy rage explosion in 3....2....1....
  20. 120529 Theme Index_low res_FINAL.pdf
  21. A little large though? I cant think of anything with eggs that large? Maybe it could indeed be Dinosaurs, with a focus on prehistoric sea creatures?
