I was quite surprised by it. And when I experienced it as 'Looping Star' at Beech Bend in the US was a bit scary (it shook, particularly on the loop) but it was quite a decent little ride. I've over any Mouse that isn't Whirlwind at Seabreeze!

Yeah and it's not bad at night though some more lights not to mention some FX pre-Ghost Town would be good.

Surfrider to close during colder months

So I heard. It's all the more annoying because I haven't been on it yet... will it come back up with the water jets turned on? -
^ It's not like it's Six Flags and there are about 8+ coasters to cover either. But for those who want some extra time up their sleeve and not rush around quite as much, it's a good option for getting one or two things out of the way I think. Sure it's a moneyspinner but I can see the logic behind it for the GP. Looking forward to the new walkthrough ... hopefully it's not just thrown together.

African Safari World: New Village Theme Park

^ Exactly. Some people need to find something better to do with their energy. Like go play their iPods, DVDs... etc etc. After all, that's the only type of thing we should do with our lives -
Hell yeah!! I've heard this was coming. I did one on the TPR Midwest Trip last year at Beech Bend. It wasn't that painful though the track shook considerably when we rounded the loop (so that might freak some people out a little). Amusingly, one of the girls also noticed the track segment leading into the station wasn't quite lined up properly (and took a picture to prove it). It's quite a fun little coaster. Not one you'd line up hours for and I don't know what the Crazy Coaster's layout was like but this is worth riding... not just for the credit. Having the loop is a nice bonus. I'll be doing the TPR Asian trips when the Show is on so unfortunately won't be able to check this one out. Does anybody know what other carnivals it will do? I'm guessing the Melbourne Show will be a safe bet... which is good as I'll be back then.

^ Chill Gazza, there's no reason to be rude to new members, despite their request or interest. If there was a reason to be rude, one of your friendly moderating team would have already deleted this, but there is nothing wrong with this topic or request, hence it lives on. Just jokin' around... And I don't think RCT2 had them.

Exactly. It would provide some balance with getting rid of PA -- an iconic and classic attraction -- by modernising another. I also agree it shouldn't be called Batman 3.
-
I don't think MW would ever make that mistake.
-
That would be a good thing. Now the franchise has "rebooted", we need to see any Batman rides with that kind of atmosphere. Batwing captures that well but Wayne Manor is in need of a better facade & an update to the ride film. I'm sure there are upgrades to the simulator vehicles that can be performed too. Don't know if it's just me but I also remember the first film as being more intense; have never enjoyed this second version as much. Batman 3 should bring back more of a ride experience. The simulator currently feels more akin to something you'd ride at the Ekka albeit with better-themed surrounds.

Ugh. I have always hated those character mugshots they show in the pre-show video. Looks so cheap...

^ Really glad you & I have sorted things out. And welcome! Yes I know about BTTF.com ... Unfortunately since everything BUT Back to the Future seems to be remade/extended somehow, there are only so many discussions people can have before starting to repeat themselves. Official policy says you're not allowed to and I don't condone people breaking park rules. That said, I doubt anything would happen. I mean, I've physically witnessed people filming on Scooby & you see quite a few Youtube on-ride videos of it. So someone snapping a quick camera pic of the video's end might get a little warning. In the split second that takes though, that might not even get noticed.

Well, I do always welcome members and try to assist where possible... But sorry, Batman -- just tried to provide a chuckle or two. Hope someone is able to help you with your request.
-
It wasn't me being rude - I didn't attack him or criticise his request, just made some jokes. If I had what he wanted, I would have no hesitation in posting them for him.
-
Sorry man for making jokes when you wanted a serious answer.

Calling Batman, Don't be the superhero equivalent to Dolly Parton where you have your very own rides and don't do them. You can hardly expect the police cadets to help recover the Whitney diamond when you don't rock up yourself. Robin'd have more guts than you. I mean, apart from anything else, think of it as an arrest with benefits because Catwoman is into the whole S&M thang. The Joker is a bit of a lame duck I know ... if you're Dolly Parton, then he's the Rove of the villain world but all the more excuse to put him away. And Mr Freeze just...leaves me cold. Argh. You can see the Joker's bad sense of humour is rubbing off on we citizens of Gotham City. Go ride. That is all! Godspeed! *salutes*

Yeah Daniel, do go back. I wish I was in your shoes and had a bit more of school to go. Sure, there were a lot of annoying elements but it was worthwhile. You recognise your leaving as a regret - well, it's not too late...

There's a third Rollercoaster Tycoon game? Wow, did they make it 3D?

What about a kite flyer?
-
True... I was in that section around January-February and it wasn't working back then. So maybe it's not operating much due to staff cutbacks after the wet period we've had.
-
I'll try to get up there Sunday so will let you know. It's not listed as being under maintenance so I'd say it would be. Why do you ask?
-
Haha. That would be an incredibly quick turn-around for the set
