Sea World Celebrates 50th Birthday

Sea World is proud to be celebrating the major milestone of 50 years of operation on the Gold Coast with the marine park officially opening on 30 October 1971.

I’ll never forget going as a kid with my parents. I used to love the pirate ship but it took me until a was a bit older before I was brave enough to go on it. Sea World will always hold great memories for me. I’m excited for the new wooden coaster to open as I never got a chance to try Bush Beast at Wonderland. It’s definitely an exciting time for Sea World. Here’s to another 50 years!!!
