This is probably one of the worst things we've seen happen to Luna Park in recent years. It's one more piece of the park's history down the drain thanks to management who really don't care. To put it into perspective, Luna Park Melbourne spent $2.2 million on restoration of their Carousel a number of years ago. This ride would without a doubt be worth no less than what the owner wants for it.

You know what, I've defended the new Luna Park, but wow you've got to be kidding me. This is the same company that has stated that the park revenue is ahead of expectations, and leases the site for $1 right?

Diddo, I think this is a disgraceful decision, whats wrong with people in the amusement park industry in this country.

Whats wrong with people in the amusement park industry in this country.

Its basically run by people who are in it for the wrong reasons.

In some cases this is true but definitely not all. In the case of ex-Wonderland owners Sunway and the current Luna Park Sydney owners I'd agree strongly
