I've heard that Luna Park Sydney sometimes brings in a temporary ride or two for the School Holidays. My question is does anyone know if that is going to happen for the school holidays starting next week and if so, what ride/s could we expect?

From the Luna Park Website.

The hilarious new family film, Evan Almighty is released these school holidays and to help you escape the imminent flood of crazed children looking for something to do, Luna Park is building its most exciting Carnival ever - Luna Ark! There’s a whole herd of new things to see and do that will have you roaring with delight! Everyone who purchases an Unlimited Rides Pass will get to take the Evan Almighty Challenge! Discover the answers to three clues hidden around the Park for your chance to WIN a family trip to Universal Studios in Hollywood valued at $15,000! An ark wouldn’t be an ark without animals! The Evan Almighty Petting Zoo will give visitors the opportunity to get up close and personal with a range of friendly farm-yard animals, two by two. If you’re up for something a little more slippery and slimy, you’ll want to slither on down to one of the daily Snake and Reptile Shows! See pythons, lizards, turtles…and even a croc! There are stilt walking giraffes who will be playing all sorts of mammal-like music to passers by plus sensational new rides; the Sizzler, Bungee Dome, Hurricane and Crazy Cars. So join the stampede and charge on down to the Luna Ark Carnival at Luna Park these school holidays…just for fun! About Evan Almighty (Rated G): In cinemas from 20 September, Evan Almighty features comedy superstar Steve Carell playing Evan Baxter, a newly elected congressman whose life is turned upside down when God (played by Morgan Freeman) appears to him and gives him the Holy mission to build an ark. His befuddled family cannot decide if Evan is having an extraordinary mid-life crisis or is truly on to something of Biblical proportions.

Thats a bit disapointing, but thanks anyway.
